Okay, I had an idea. What did you think was the toughest thing to do in the game? Let's talk about all the tough secrets and bosses n stuff.

My hardest, Chupon in the coliseum! I bet some of you managed to beat him, but I sure couldn't.

*ACHOO!* gonk

I was playing my friends game without a guide one day so I didn't know which item you bet got you what so I went and bet a few things and had Terra fight. Her stats weren't that great but its not like that mattered because the first nano second in almost all of the battles he sneezed her away. So I just gave up and turned it off.
I think the most challenging thing I've tried to do was on my brother's game (notice how it's only hard on others games when they don't know the meaning of leveling or stating up stare ) in which he wanted me to beat the game one night with everyone at level 35 and almost no stat increases. Needless to say the farthest I got at those levels was to Doom after 3 or more tries. So I leveled up to 40 (It took a while... stare ) And tried it again. After that I tried it again and got to the Goddess. She kicked my a** twice humiliating me. I'm not going to play anyone else's games anymore gonk

I *heard* it was possible to beat him with Ragnarok and Illumina or something... I can't remember. I bet someone has though.

Oh yeah, those Brontosaur things, those were great biggrin Or the Magi tower, that was tough. But what was the hardest, hmmm...

Hardest thing for me was when I was a complete newb to the game. I didn't know how anything worked so I ended up running from most battles. The Narshe battle totalled me since all my characters were Lv. 10-13.

To be fair I was only 9 years old at the time, but that's the only time I've ever had any real "difficulty" with FFVI.

You throw them at him. You can also steal a Ragnarok from him and have Shadow hurl it. It says that there's a damage overload or somthing and he just... dies. Which is seriously lame.
I don't know about damage overload but they should do s**t loads of damage.

Im trying to remember dying while fighting a boss and the only thing that comes to mind is the Magimaster. Im like yeah I got him after the second time fighting him and then he toasts me with ultima! I didn't have a guide the first time around so it took a few tries because I didn't know to get Palidor. I had to use dragoon boots. I think I may have tried to bring Sabin and Locke up there once not knowing you couldn't use magic. Had to jump out the window.

Ah Kefka at the end of the game rocked my world the first time I rented the game, and ofcourse good ol Doom Gaze got me also. I was afraid to use my airship for the longest time after that. sweatdrop

I think the Hidden may have been a problem battle, but I don't remember.

To me, Guardian the time you actually have to beat him is a tough fight, seeing how I went with 4 uber strong members on my way in teh tower and Mog was level 79 and got whooped. I went back with Cyan and Edgar and mauled him. Same thing happened with Goddess. Magimaster killed me, but a friend of mine beat it (without me stare ) and beserked his team after he beserked the magi master. He actually stood through the final ultima in the end.

Well, I would assume it depends what level you are. I've never really had much trouble with the escape, but I'm a gamer of godly proportions so I suppose my lack of difficulty in the experience isn't remarkable. I'm currently trying to go through the game with a bunch of limitations on my party to make the game more interesting, us super-gamers have got to pump the difficulty sometimes. *wishes there was an even more difficult setting for Megaman 2*

I guess the toughest thing is Ultros, when you're on the raft. Because if you havent leveled up enough, then you are -********-. Theres no where to go, you cant go back and level up. You pretty much have to start the game over.
