Renata Fanchon wandered around the museum. Her manager woke her up early from her post-title match slumber, kicking her out of the door half dressed and clutching directions to fete that he scheduled her to attend (without her knowledge of course). Covering up her glorious shiner with a patch, she made her way over to the magic and face painting areas.
"Oh, gee whiz. I feel like I am back in grade school," Renata sighed wearily, thankful that her pain meds kicked in. Pushing her long dark brown pony tail off her shoulder, Renata selected the activity requiring less of her out-of-focus attention. "Might as well enjoy it, right?"
Shrugging her shoulders, Renata advanced on the Face Painting booth. Taking a gander at the girl behind the counter, she smiled. "I have a black eye, but if you've got some time. I'd like something a little festive."

"Oh my!" April chuckled as she looked up at Renata. "That's a wonderful shinner as they call them." She said with a small smile. "Well... I can either paint over it in a skin tone, make it a flower or turn you into a racoon. Which would you prefer?" She asked as she cocked her head to the side, paintbrush already being lifted to dip into a cup of water placed at her side.

"If you won't mind patching a girl up and making her a little more presentable for the occassion, I'd greatly appreciate it," Renata said, with a sheepish smile.
She tucked her bangs underneath the rim of her vivid green beret. Sweeping her long ponytail as well, giving the girl tagged 'April' a clear view of her face. Her features were elegant, aside from the shiner, making her look like a young version of a classic Hollywood star.
"Make fun," she smiled, sinking into the chair beside the booth. "Just be care around the eye. It's a bit tender."

"A patch up it is then. The paint is non toxic so it won't cause any damage if by chance I slip and get it in your eye. But I've been painting for years, I have quite the steady hand." While she spoke, paint was already starting to get mixed on a small pallet. There was several shades of skin tones that mached Renata.
Once a good amount was made, she turned and faced the other woman. "Close your eyes please, I'll try to be quick and painless. I highly doubt a paintbrush would be painful though, it'll more or less tickle." That said, the paint filled brush was lifted up and towards the other's face. "Though, would probably be better to use make up, unfortunatly I don't have any."

"Yeah, I don't have any makeup either. I kept loosing my makeup bags when I would travel," Renata said, closing her eye gently. "Feel freel to jazz it up afterwards."
Renata relaxed in the chair, giving April free reign. The brush tickled, causing her to stifle a giggle, but let a classic smile seep through slowly.
"How much do I owe you for this?"

The brush danced lightly across the skin as April worked. "We don't charge here.. well not for the festival." She started to explain. "Though Ballentine has kindly allowed us to put out tip jars. Some people feel inclined to pay even when it's free. Really doesn't matter either way, I'm being paid to paint and that's what I'll do." Giggling a bit she'd pause to check the work over before adding in some touch ups. "But I'm a starving artist ... So any extra cash is appreciated."

"It may not be much, but I hope you'll make use of it," Renata said, slipping her fingers into her pocket and discretely holding up a folded bill (Naturally, squinting out of her good eye to make sure it was of reasonable amount first). "Who knows, keep up the good work, and I might hire you to paint my face everytime I have a match."
Renata's deep purple eyes waited patiently for their chance to take a peek. Not wanting to admit it, she enjoyed the feeling and magic of face painting. "What's your partner in crime have scheduled for the magic portion of our programming?"

April gave a small smile to Renata, though the other woman couldn't really see it. "Why thank you ma'am. It's appreciated, as I said." She stated as she took the money, slipping it into her colorfully decorated tip jar.
"Almost done...." It was time for color, and she painted a soft make up like look onto the other woman. Once done she giggled a bit. "Looks great, but don't open your eyes yet.. the paint is still wet. Wait another moment."

"Thank you, kindly, April," Renata smiled, somewhat disappointed that her makeover was in fact, over. "I feel better already."
Renata kept her eyes closed, taking in the sounds of the museum's gala. It sounded quite busy, but everyone was enjoying it. Opening her eyes after a few moments, Renata's smile grew.
"This place has a great feel to it," Renata mused, feeling her stomach howl like a wolf. "I'll hit the games and food and make my way back here."

April just gave a faint nod. "of course... I don't mind having some one come chit chat with me during the day. But go enjoy yourself, it is the point of a festival after all." She said as she flashed yet another smile at Renata.
As the woman rose from the seat, April happily accpeted the kid that had been waiting in line, listening to how the child wanted a sun on their cheek or some sort of easy design like that.
