| Applications for New Herds |
Here you can post your new herd applications to lay claim to a territory, an idea, and for staff to assess. Herd slots will open now and then and only herds that have been approved will be allowed to claim a slot.

Becoming the Lord of a new herd:
- Your stag would have to leave his present herd.
- Your stag would have to have followers. At least 3 outriders, 5 corps, and 8 hinds.
- Your stag must have at least one hind in his harem.
- Your stag must establish a territory for the herd.
- You must submit an application for a herd in this thread of the guild.

Herd’s Name: Ártali Ísjaki
Council Bulls:
Council Cows:
Outrider Captains:
Outrider Bulls:
Donner
Dasher
Ranorth
Glósóli
Outrider Cows:
Dancer
Blitzen
Corps:
Rudolph
Cows:
Prancer
Aderyn
Vixen
Sesilída
Others: The baby, Urd
Tumi
Territory: Due to Donner’s paranoia and xenophobia, this herd has established a territory slightly apart from the other deer, right at the fringes of the forest. They avoid the coast and stick to the inland, due to a rather embarrassing incident involving several seals and Rudolph. Donner’s orders are to avoid other herds, but several of the younger and more accepting deer are questioning these commands and have been questing nearby the other herds. By this point, even Donner is thinking about making some sort of contact, on the basis that his herd cannot continue to live on the fringes forever, especially since he expects it to get larger.
Concept: Most of the reindeer in this herd were kept by men out of curiosity, as show pieces and the like. Kept to their corral, the reindeer were expected to tame easily, but the men quickly discovered how wrong they were. Once they realized how troublesome the deer were, the reindeer were simply released into the wild, left to their own devices. They were expected to succumb to the unfamiliar environment, but, as it turns out, each and every member of the herd had something to lend to survival in this unfamiliar terrain. Even Rudolph was able to provide something, although in his case it was the lesson of, ‘Don’t go too near the shoreline lest you want to get chased around by seals’.
Extras: While in captivity, the reindeer saw little need for a real council, as every decision was already made for them by the humans. However, now in the wild, Donner has stepped forward as an unofficial leader. Some of the others, especially Dasher, take issue with this. Now that they are getting settled in, they are seeing to developing a more permanent Council.

EDIT: Changed "Tiny Tim" to Tumi.
