It has been a while since Ama has walked out of her teepee. The first desitination she decided to visit would be the beach. Such a nice day to spend time at a place where you've never been before. Falling on her back, she relaxed and got comfortable. Today, Ama wasn't expecting to see anyone anywhere really.

Water droplets hit her as the tide came in and out. Her bright color reflected most of the sun's rays, which meant the mare didn't feel as hot as other darker Soquili would feel here at the beach. Neither has Ama got a lot of friends, some she just talk to but aren't really friends with. She's got maybe around 2 to 3 friends, but with a low intelligence like Ama, she can't really remember who they are. Although one that she never forgotten was Tally. Basicly her best friend.

Ama didn't want to meet new soquilis but then again, she wanted to make new friends. It was hard for her to speak to other properly, since she mumbles most of the time. Either way, she layed still on the warm sand under her, it felt like if she was sinking into it.

Perhaps a nice walk on the beach would cool her frayed nerves. She had been frustrated that she couldn't completely clean off the dirt that had gotten under her wing. She looked around, the intense heat of the beach warming her up nicely. She lived in the mountains because she liked to be alone, but now, she wanted to associate herself with some "friends"...

Sniffing the air, Ama could smell another around, but who could it be. Thsi was a surprise that she would find someone on the beach. Rarely anyone comes here on a day like this, they would be spending time with others important to them or spending time with their friends. Getting up, Ama could see a shape of her marked in the sand, but slowly the tiny rocks slid and filled up where Ama was lying. Taking another sniff at the air, soon a mare came to site. She had wings. Forgetting if she've seen a mare or stallion with wings before, Ama smiled weakly but stood still. Then turned her body to looked at the water, that pushing random items from the deep sea, to the shore.

She stood where the seawater lapped at her front hooves gently, feeling the breeze flutter around her, in what she pictured to be what looked like a mare who looked serene, graceful... beautiful.

She turned when she heard the soft sifting of sand over hooves. Moonstone eyes spotted then a pale blue mare, and she saw that this one was of the shy kind... hmph.

More so... maybe she could use this mare and pull her through conversation. And perhaps teach her a lesson in sterness... determination... and maybe to appear stronger.

Her ears twitched a bit, waiting for the other mare to leave. At least that is what she expected, what could she be so interesting to this mare. Thinking she was gone, her body turned and wished she hadn't. Noticing the other wing soquili was staring right at her. Uh... Was she suppose to say something. Or was the other. Either way, Ama didn't like silence and she definetly did not like one just staring at her. "Hi. My name is Amatsila!" She yelled lightly. "Calling me Ama is what I'd prefer." After speaking to her loudest, the mare smiled and started using her hoofs to play with the sand. Move it around then step on it. She repeated this continuously and would probably not stop, or at least until the other mare talks or does something.

She raised her brow as she mentally assessed the sky-blue mare. Or at least, the color closet to this spring painted coat-colored mare was the color of the blue sky. Soft-spoken, even as Shimshek could tell she had yelled. Rather, Amatsila, or should she say, "Ama", had spoken in a normal tone; one she found held a tone of slight irritation.

...How amusing.

Nodding, she averted her eyes. Perhaps she would indulge this mare's silent request to not stare at her. "Amatsila... Ama." She spoke with a soft, yet bold, authoritive voice. "...I am Shimshek. I prefer no other name, as I have no other." How true that was; she figured Amatsila had the name "Ama" given to her as a nickname... or the mare had come to it herself. Either way, she found it silly and lazy. But she daren't say those words aloud... yet.

Ama may have low intelligence, but she could see and tell that this mare wasn't the kind to make friends regularly. Just nodding at the spoken words, she did nothing else. Just standing there to stare out at the ocean. Like if there were something to watch. As she did, Ama, out of the corner of her eye, she could see the mare easily. "Well...uhm...what brings you here today then?" Looking up smiling sweetly. Hoping for a freindly answer, or at least an attemp to make a friendly answer. She has never met this mare, and this mare has never met her. No reason to hold a grudge or hatred against each other already.

Although Shimshek felt inclined to point out that the reason she was here was because she wanted to see the phenomenon called the "ocean", she paused and decided that the mare meant no harm. She sighed, and returned Amatsila's smile with a soft, gentle smile of her own. "I'm here to brood," she said honestly.

Unlike Aruna, Shimshek said whatever she thought; though, at times, she truly was arrogant and irritating to speak with, especially if she felt herself to be "above" the other mares. Her heart was torn in shreds... "Forgive me for sounding so crude, earlier. I just haven't had much time to really... think."

Amatsila's personality soothed her, in a way; the mare, although shy, had an aura about her that calmed Shimshek's frayed nerves, for which she was very grateful... not that she'd admit that aloud.

"It's okay." She said gently with a smile. "I mean, afterall, you just met me." Nodding. It was such a beautiful day, and how glad was she to find someone to chat with. Such a long time since she has talked with another soquili. Many usually try to get her to talk by asking many questions, but it never really worked because after she had answered, they would fall into silence. The waves made Ama relax in the enviroment around her. Everything so peaceful all of a sudden, letting the wind brush though her light purple curls.

A new friend, hm? She mused to herself. She decided she wouldn't mind have Amatsila as a friend; the mare was kind, and she herself had never known that kind of... well, emotion. Inali had been like her, so she found herself startled to see how horrible she really was, putting up her arrogant mask as she did, but now she saw the horror of it.

"Maybe we just met, but that's just enough." She smiled at the blue mare, pale and pretty. "So, Ama; how's life with you? Mine is a tumble." The ocean... it really did have a magical quality as Aruna had said. Maybe that was it--sometimes, some things were just enough.

Smiling, she was happy that Shimshek was not rude to her. "Well, my life hasn't been...that exciting. Just sleep and eat kind of life." Ama tilted her head and wondered what has been going on in her life. "How is it a tumble? If you don't mind me asking...tell me about it?"

It was great she has made friends with her, Ama loved to made friends. Of course it is way better than making enemies.

Shimshek smiled, and mused aloud, "Oh, really? A sleep and eat kind of life? I wish I could have your kind of life. It sounds peaceful and undisturbed." She turned to stare out at the ocean and then looked back to Amatsila. "Well, Ama, my life is a tumble because there's this stallion, you see..."

She broke off. Did she really want to tell Amatsila her life story? It was more dramatic than anything, and if possible, probably annoying. She sighed. Oh well. "There's this male who's extremely handsome. He caught my eye, and I just so happened to want to play a game of seduction with him.

"He turned the tables on me, and so quickly, that I found myself excited. My heart was pounding so fast that I thought I was soaring higher than the clouds and the sun. I later accepted the fact that I was in love." She fell silent, thinking.

Finally, "He's like a stone. Immovable, untouchable (sorta), and uncaring. I understand that, and he tore my heart apart. But... I'm not going to give up on him." She was going to keep trying till he finally accepted her, in love or as a friend, one way or another. She really wanted his affection.

Giggling, Ama nodded and then she tilted her head. "Well, my life is actually quite boring. It may sound relaxing but once you start living in it, you'll feel how horrible it is." She always hated how her life was always the same routine over and over. So, always, she tries to make it enjoyable for herself. Especially by making new friends and talking to others.

When Shimshek said the word 'stallion', Ama knew exactly what this was about. "Oh." This wasn't a surprise, she expected this to happen in every mare's life. "Oh dear, well...what did he say that just tore you apart?" Ama needed to know the details in order to help her friend. "It's a good thing you decided to go on." Ama secretly had a handsome stallion image in her head. He was cute, oh yes very cute. The only problem is, that she has never seen or met this male before. Like if he doesn't even exist, but still his picture is like marked on stone in her mind.

Giving a sigh, it wasn't a sad or happy one. Just one where you do normally when you don't know what to do or think. So much confusiong when it comes to love. Well, at least that is what she expected, that this must be love. It's not normal to randomly get a dreamy stallion stuck in your brain all day and night. Everyone tells her she'll find the right one someday, but will she? That is the only question. Many males are handsome or very good looking on this land, although she never really liked them in that way. Just friends. Another sigh came from her.

She tilted her head at Amatsila, and then twitched an ear. "I guess I understand how boring it could be if you do the same thing over and over... change is a good thing, I guess." She smirked at Amatsila. "Maybe I should play matchmaker and get you hooked up with a nice stallion. Your life'd be more interesting, then, right?" Suppressing a giggle, she stopped her teasing. "More detailed...? Well, he was very blunt. He told me it would never work out, no matter how hard I tried, and that he didn't care for anyone but himself."

She turned away as she felt a tear fall from her eye. "Of course, he figured me out right away. Instantaneous love... I may try to find another stallion, but I vowed to myself that once I fell in love, I would stick to that stallion no matter what happened. Of course, the only way for me to give up on him would be for him to prove that he just wasn't worth it... I think he's worth it, but..." She turned to look at Amatsila with sad eyes. "...maybe I'm just seeing the positive part of him. I need to see all of him, but somehow, I just can't." She wondered if this meant she was truly in love, or if she was merely infactuated.

...She hated every bit of this feeling, yet, she loved it. She sighed hopelessly.

"Hooking me up?" She blinks and giggles. "Nah...I think I'll let things flow." After that, she listened carefully. Wow, after hearing many tales from other mares, she realised how much a fuss love can cause. "That would be my que to keep trying." Smiling while nodding. "I probably would hold on to as long as I can." He may not have been the one for her friend, but it is always good to think positive. If you think bad, you'll start crying and much more. Then soon after that, you'll think about giving up.

Worry look was covering Ama's normal smiling or shy face. "That feeling does hurt doesn't it?" Ama didn't need an answer. Slowly, moving closer to Shimshek, Ama smiled and looked in her eyes. "Just remember, giving up is not a choice." Nodding. She then wondered when she'll come across this situation herself.
