Nature’s Architect Contest
Your mission: With the opening of Apple Acres rumored to be coming soon and the fall season fast approaching, the WhuddleWorld Chronicles is sponsoring its first ‘Reader Contest’.
Instructions: Using ONLY items found in nature, build your own version of a miniature Apple Acres house, cottage, bungalow or shed. (no manufactured or man-made products allowed, except for glue, string or tools needed to put your project together)
Once you’re done with your Architectural masterpiece, take a photo and scan it or a digital photo and submit it to us along with a brief description (150 words or less) describing your creation.
RULES:
1. Do NOT include anything in the picture you submit but your house/hut/cottage/bungalow/shed (in other words, no pictures of people, names, words, addresses, etc.) If your submission contains anything else other than a close-up of your creation it will be automatically disqualified.
2. Use only natural materials (i.e. no metals, plastics, cardboard) – things like sticks, twigs, stones and leave.
3. Please don’t destroy any living things – such as pulling up plants, tearing leaves off trees, breaking off tree branches. There should be plenty of materials readily available just lying about, on the ground in nature to use.
4. The submission should be of a building or structure you think one might find in Apple Acres, so things such as spaceships, skyscrapers, etc. would not be in keeping with the theme.
