I pity the people in Germany- Dead Rising was banned there. However, I live in America, and as soon as I get an Xbox 360, I'll be buying this game.

I have searched and searched, and I have come up with hundreds of potential ways to kill the zombies in this game. You can even beat the undead horrors down with teddy bears.

For those of you who don't know, Dead Rising takes place in a mall(Familiar?). It has a name, and it starts with a W, but I'm lazy and I don't want to look it up.

Now, it's made by Capcom- the people responsible for the miracles that were the Resident Evil games. However, this concentrates less on horror, since there are no spots where zombies literally jump from the shadows. There can be tens, sometimes hundreds, of zombies on-screen at once, but they are all out in the open.

What makes this game great is that everything is a weapon. Games have made this claim before. Few, if any, have actually managed to come through with their promises. Dead Rising has.

I've even heard of people using hockey sticks and the trampolines to make a sort of makeshift bow-and-arrow. Tim Buckley, the author of the webcomic, Ctrl-Alt-Del even mentioned spending his entire day heating one of the cooking pans in the game, and then charring the zombies' faces until they walked around aimlessly.

I don't think that there is any possible way not to kill a zombie, short of using supernatural powers.

There's even an insane clown who became a homicidal maniac because once everyone turned into zombies, there was no one to laugh at his jokes.

Note also, that I am going off of what other people have said. I've seen videos, and I can assure you that everything is indeed a weapon, but since I don't have the game, I can not check the individual opinions of different people on what may and may not be possible.

Does anyone have this game? If so, what is the most creative way you have found to kill a zombie?

Ive seen this game on TV, but I havent played it cause I'm a playstation man mad d Although this game really remind me of an old movie I saw once......but I cant remember what it was called, it had to do with the people being stuck in the mall with a bunch of zombies. Oh well, anyways, the game sounds really col, I'll have to check into it.

The original Dawn of the Dead movie is pretty old and it takes place in a mall. The zombies were so freaking dumb! XD

I put "familiar" in parentheses for a reason. The game almost seems like a tribute to Dawn of the Dead, despite the fact that it's made by different people.

I'm not sure... was it Uwe Boll that directed Dawn of the Dead? I kind of stopped watching his movies after the horror that was Bloodrayne, although I might pick up the new Dungeon Siege film... I never watched Dawn of the Dead, but I know the plot-line. I just don't know who directed it...

I don't know either but, yea it was pretty good. But I'm a sucker for zombie movies~ ;D

Never saw Bloodrayne, never wanted to.

The only way that I watched Bloodrayne in its entirety was because I found that my computer wasn't going to finish defragmenting for several more hours, and I had nothing else to do.

When someone asks me my least favorite movie of all time, the first thing that comes to mind is Bloodrayne, although I'm sure I've seen worse movies.

I guess I say that it's the worst because it was based off of a fairly good game, and the movie sucked.
