Jerava's house is located in a pocket dimension anchored to a room in Nimaina's house. There are several ways to get to the dimension, only one of which requires you knowing Nima.
- Going through the doorway in Nima's house
- First, you should probably know Nima and Jer for this to work. The room you need to go to is located on the second floor of Nima's house, and is decorated like a sitting room/waiting area. In the middle of the room is a table, with a golden box sitting on it. This box emits a beam of light, which is what creates the door on the opposite wall.
- Easier than it sounds, really. The anchored doors require one of the members of the household to be with you, and they have to open the door with a key to even get it to work. Otherwise, you just end up in whatever house/shop/building that Jer bought in order to have the door anchored there.
- Jer, Elena, Laure, and Anarya all have their own keys, which they can hand out at their discretion. These keys are not like the ones the household uses; rather, they are to be used without a pre-existing doorframe. The key is stuck out in mid-air, like you're using it with a door, and then twisted, as if you're unlocking it. After that, a line appears with a handle on it, which, when pulled open, reveals the waiting room/dimensional airlock.
Keyholders:
- Luthenep Sesostris (Laure Key)
Sesostris (Jerava Key)
- This is for those of you who like being funny: Jerava's registered P.O. box is fitted with a frame that pops whatever's in there into the mail room in the House. It's large enough to fit most anything, so I'm sure it could fit a person.
General Appearance: (Arrival Areas)
- Entering from Nima's house
- This is the only door that does not lead directly into the House proper. Instead, the door way opens into a small, yet elegant, gatehouse. It's made of stone, with intricate carvings decorating the interior. The gatehouse does not have a set location on Jerava's property; it moves about depending on how far the door thinks you're capable of walking, or if the residents need time to prepare for your arrival. Regardless of how long the walk is, the path is always the same. The path is some sort of stone, and shows no wear at all. Evenly spaced alongside are trees that branch over the path and in some places interlock with each other to form a canopy. At night, the trees are lit with softly glowing lights, providing illumination to anyone walking beneath.
The front door is large, and made of a dark wood. There are carvings on this as well, similar to the sort you'd see in the gatehouse. There is no doorbell, or door knocker, since by the time you arrive, someone will already have the door open for you.
- The anchored doors all open up into the default waiting room of what's been termed the dimensional airlock. The room is decorated in the same manner as the rest of the public areas: dark wood paneling, navy blue carpet and cushions, and furnishings in a vaguely Victorian style.
