This is an area of the Academy that I decided we might need, if only to get a little action here. Also, it seems that the main owner of this Guild is more concerned with the Main thread, so I think I'll use my initiative and create a few more places here.

During his free time, Xander entered the Duel Arena and stepped over to one of the several consoles that were positioned throughout the complex. He opened up the main page of the Duel Arena scheduling system and typed up an open challenge to anyone who thought they were up to it. He didn't mention any times, he just said that if anybody happened to turn up here looking for a duel, Xander would be first in line.

Neko walked up to a large building with a sign that said 'Academy Duel Arena' on it in big red letters. Tilting her head with interest, she stepped inside. She had her deck with her, and she had just updated it before she came here, so she might try to duel someone.
She set her bag on the floor next to the door and looked around. She didn't see anyone but someone at the far end or the room. "Hey!" she called. "Is anyone dueling here today?"

Xander stepped out of the shadowy corner and smiled slightly as he saw that someone had finally come. "Why yes, they are. I'm dueling today, are you ready?" He stepped up onto the dueling platform and looked her over, "A Slifer Red? Oh well, why not I suppose?" He loaded his deck into his duel disk and it opened up, locking into place on his arm with the lifepoint counter set to 4000.
"I hope your ready, this is the first duel this arena has seen, it better be a good one."

"An...Oblisk Blue? Oh dear..." Neko dragged her feet over to her spot on picked up the disk there. She was hoping that her fist duel here would be with someone around her own level, not one of the highest ranked students. She was going to be crushed! She smiled weakly and set her disk to 4000 also, putting her deck into the slot.
((I've never dueled in an RP before. What do I do?))

((Well, if you have a deck in real life, then use it to keep things realistic and to keep track of things. If you have YVD, then that works great too. Other than that, make it up I suppose.))
Xander listened as his opponent seemed to be disheartened by the fact that he was a higher rank than she. "I think I'll go first." He drew his hand of five cards, and then one additional card to make it up to six. "I'll summon Drillroid! In attack position!" The lean mean digging machine appeared on Xander's side of the field, grinning manically. "Next I'll play two cards facedown and end my turn!" He smiled down at his hand, things were going quite well for ths stage of the game. "Hmmm, what's your name?"
