This forum is for all those who like to debate, there are only a few rules, and those rules apply for every debate team I know of.
1. Be nice, this is a Debate forum NOT an argument forum.
2. Name calling is childish and not wanted in debates.
3. Please be of appropriate topics. No debating on p***s size or how often you get laid, I'm sure no one wants to hear about it.
Now there will be two teams, and once a week (when we get this place lively again) there will be competitions. The team captians and judges are played by people who actually know what the hell happens, cause I sure as hell don't....

I propose a subject... The arts in schools... They seem to be getting phased out and... well... I like to debate that... (just a suggestion...)

Art is going out of schools?! wtf. its not in college. i see the metal and clay guys working all the time. i think i failed art back in high school. *cries*

Yes, arts are slowly being pushed out of schools due to lack of funding. It's sad, I don't quite know what I'd do without my choirs, debate, 4-N6, or Theatre.

i remember my art in elementary. ofcourse i lived in b-more so our school was poorer then bennet(if anyone knows that school has not heat or ac) but my elementary had art maybe 3 times a month.. if that. i and well now my art class in high school was really awesome.. tille the teacher got sick and we had a permanet sub.. or old teach would let us get away with murder.. and our new teacher accually gave us work and real grades.. instead of 3 weeks for a project we has a week. it messed us all up because alot of us did our homework for other classes there. now we were accually required to do things..

It really sucks for people like me who don't exactally have the coordination to play sports... I hate them... And I have to pay twice as much to be in the Choir then I have to pay to be in Tennis? It is STUPID! I think it should be equal funding for everything!

they do that because they dont expect that many people to go out for tennis hun and i agree its not fair hell it took them how long but now we actually have flatscreens and my old middleschool has lapt tops now and it really blows
