I must admit, your CGing needs a lot of work.
First of all, what process do you go through to draw and colour your art? It looks like you draw your lines on the computer, then try to colour inside them... which isn't the best way for a new CG artist.
Your lines aren't very steady, so if you have a scanner, you could draw your lineart on paper first, then scan it to colour.
And the other big thing that (I assume) is missing in your art is layers. A layer for lineart and a layer for colour at the bare minimum.
Almost all art programs have layers, so I suggest you start using them. With layers, you can separate your lineart from your colour... that is, the lines won't go away when you colour over top of them. Very useful.
i actually dont have photoshop yet, so ive been using Ulead photo express 4.0, which is really crap. crying i dont have a scanner either crying

Darn. x3
Well, lineart just takes a lot of practice to get smooth. If there's a line tool on Photo Express you could do lineart using that.
I'm still pretty sure it'd have a Layers option, so look around for that. If you do find it, look for the "Multiply" option. That lets you draw over your lineart without messing any of it up. 3nodding

Even if it turns out you don't, then one thing that could help is sticking to solid colors for now. In a couple of them it seems like you tried to switch colors, like in your third picture. If you brushes and colors in the program aren't the best, just stick to one color and fill in the entire area completely. 3nodding It'll help make things look cleaner.

I don't mess with paint proggy's to do lineart... I suck at it.
So this is much better than I could do.
I think if you take Tawney's and Sign-up's advice (they are so good at giving advice) you will do a lot better. XD
