I've been thinking about this ever since KoRn released SYOTOS. I mean the new album is great and all but misreably fails to compare to their older stuff. I personally would like to see KoRn find a replacement for HEAD so that they can continue to play some of their older sound because I enjoy that more than the new sound (not that there is anything wrong with the new sound). I would like to see them play more of the sound they played on TALITM.
Anyway, what are your opinions about this?

would be nice, but it is korn still.
but back then they had so much raw energy it was unbelievable

it's inevitable that bands change sound as they get older.
It doesn't make them worse- just different.
There's nothing anyone can really do
But Korn really can't sound like they used to anymore
especially with Head gone and what not.
Everyone's just going to have to accept the new sound.
I personally like both 3nodding

I do like their new stuff, but yeah, I do agree, their old stuff is better. I don't think KoRn are going to find a replacement for Head just yet, I think they're quite happy just doing what they're doing. They don't need a replacement for Head, but it would be great if they found someone.

If by "Old Stuff", you mean, all CDs before See You On The Other Side, than yes, i love their old stuff more. To answer your question, yes, Replacement. Head moved on, they should too.

Yes you are I like Untouchables a lot Take a look in the mirror kinda was like ok and this latest cd wasn't bad. I am just glad bsc is finally free again that pissed me off when it wasn't....

it is in my beleife that after Issues koRn lost their energy, it seemed that Untouchables just couldn't compair to the prevous albums at all, i kind of think that after Issues koRn started to fall apart.

Dunno what you're talking about, but most Children of the KoRn consider Untouchables to be their greatest masterpiece to date.
