Nya. My name is not Sir. It is Ichigo. Please, please don't call me Sir.

I read a lot of Shakespeare. My favorite is Othello.

My favorite contemporary authors are Tanith Lee and Jane Yolen. Some of my favorite series of theirs are the Unicorn trilogy and the Claidi Journals by Lee, and the Dragons trology and Armageddon Summer by Yolen and Bruce Coville.

My name is Clara, which you might be able to gather from my member name. My favorite author is probably George Orwell. I loved Animal Farm. But I like to read nonfiction more than fiction, especially histories. Mostly histories about socialist countries, like the now-defunct Soviet Union and China back when it was crazy.
And I know who Ichigo is. And I can promise all of you that Clara tried to join this guild first. ninja

Favourite Book: Midnight Over Sanctaphrax
Favourite Author: I don't really have one to be honest, because they all have different Styles of Writing, but I'd have to say my top 3 are Paul Stewart, Jonathan Stroud, and Phillip Pullman.

Picking favorites is just too hard!!

I love books!!! I have been an avid reader since the fist grade, so pretty much ever since then anything I could get my hands on. I like fantasy, sci-fi, but have recently started getting in to historical.

Hello everyone. I just joined this guild today so I thought I would pop in and say hello.

I'll cut to the chase. It's impossible for me to pin everything down to one favorite author or favorite book. There are those that I hold nearest and dearest to my heart, but the list of favorites, and even the list of what is considered dear changes and grows all the time. But the essentials are to be listed presently.

The top authors, playwrights, and poets are: Albert Camus, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Douglas Adams (I have a plethora of Hitchhiker related tattoos), Shakespeare (who is my patron saint), Billy Collins, Robert Browning, Thomas Gray and ee cummings.

A short short list of favorite books, poems and plays would include: A Happy Death, The Plague, Love in the Time of Cholera, One Hundred Years of Solitude, The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, The Salmon of Doubt, Titus Andronicus, Shakespeares sonnets 71-74, maggie and milly and molly and may (cummings), anyone lived in a pretty how town(cummings), Ave Atque Vale(Collins), Langour(Collins), My last Duchess(Browning), Soliloquy of the Spanish Cloister(Browning), Ode on the Death of a Favourite Cat,
Drowned in a Tub of Gold Fishes(Gray), Elegy Written in a Country Churchyard(Gray)...and that's that short list.
