Athrun felt his wing bang against another tree and he roared as quietly as he could in the hot and tight jungle. On a whim he'd come here because on the outside it seemed okay, but in here it wasn't.
With his mask up so that he looked like any other lion and any passing by creature would see a lion with sky blue eyes and obviously no wings, Athrun figured he was safe, but if he hit his wings against one more tree he would go balistic. It hurt and already he had bruises that colored most of the bone on his wings. It was irritating as hell but he dealt with it all the same. By making it known rather.
Frowning, he looked up at one of the trees and dug his claws into it for a moment, wondering faintly if he could climb up it and be fine. ninja

Hivu giggled softly as she saw the lion making his way rather clumsily through the trees. She honsetly had no idea that he was really a god, but regardless she also had no self control when it came to meeting new comers. She jumped down from her perch in a nearby tree and landed right bext to him, a wide grin on her face. "Hello there, I'm Msulhivu, but you can call me Hivu." She said, "Pleased to make your aquaintance."

Athrun raised an eyebrow free of it's cloth prison as the female leopard dropped down abruptly in front of him. She seemed rather innocent and didn't appear to know that he was anything other than a simple lion. For that he was glad, it meant his powers weren't faltering or anything of that sort.
Letting a soft smile spread over his muzzle for her forwardness, the god inclined his head.
"Hello there, Miss Hivu. It's nice to meet you. You may call me Athrun, though I don't know what else you would call me save for clumsy." He said to her in a polite way. ninja

Hivu smiled, "Athrun, thats a nice name." She nodded, "What brings a lion such as yourself to this place? From what I know most keep from the trees, espcially the ones who are white." She said curiously, "Not that I'm not white or anything, but I stay up in the trees a lot, so I'm not going to be an easy target..." She mused, looking up into the branches dreamily.
"And you're not clumsy, these trees take a lot of getting used to unless you were born here, I've seen newcomers here who end up in much worse states than yourself, you seem to be doing quite well." She said with a nod.

Flicking a wing idly, though Hivu couldn't see it for all the glamor that Athrun wore, the god smiled at the leopard female before him and nodded his head faintly.
"I came here out of curiosity, there are some things in the world that a lion just has to see for themselves, you know? As for the trees, I'm getting there, clumsily but getting there all the same." He smiled at her faintly and sat down on the ground. He was a little tired and for good reason, he'd been running around and flying around for the past months in an attempt to figure out his new surroundings.
The beings on this planet now seemed to be a little bit more benign than they'd used to be, but that made Athrun happy. ninja

"I guess so, I've always wanted to see the top of one of the mountains around here, but I've never gone there, its not the same hearing stories." She said with a nod, "But as long as you're here, you really should see one of the best things in the whole jungle." She smiled, "The waterfall, come on, I'll take you there."
She turned in the direction of the waterfall, "Its right this way, its gorgeous." She said enthusiastically, beginning to walk in its direction.

Shuddering from the fact that he once again had to abuse his poor large wings by walking through the jungle, Athrun nodded his head and followed Hivu without a word of complaint.
"You should go then. You only have one life, long or short as that is it's up to fate, but what you do with it, what you see. That's up to you." Athrun told her gently. ninja

Fortunately for Athrun, it was a short walk, and they came upon the wonderful splendor that was the waterfall, a rainbow arcing downward and vanishing into the trees. "I guess you're right, I'm sure I'll go someday... But I have a mate you see, I can't just leave him here, and who knows? I may have cubs before too long, I won't be able to leave them either." She said, realizing how much was really going on.
"Maybe I should go soon." She laughed.

A laugh pulled from Athrun as he sat down and gazed over at the waterfall. "I have a sort of mate of my own. So I do understand what you mean and what you're feeling. You can't just up and leave them, but sometimes it's okay, once the cubs have grown to go on a sort of trip. It only takes a little while, and your mate can go too." Athrun told her.
"For future knowledge I say this of course." The god said gently, looking back at the waterfall again and smiling. "If you want you can go. I should be leaving myself soon, both to go back to our mate eh?" ninja

Hivu smiled, "You really are full of wisdom, I suppose I should be getting back to him, I hope to see you again Athrun." She said cheerily before turning and dissapearing into the trees, thinking of the top of one of those mountains, her and Ixachy together...
