Orphues looked over the set up before himself, it was a climbing course set up with a bunch of wooden boxes he'd found in storage. He'd arranged them like one would a bunch of legos and had even tested it himself, climbing up to the top and then back down the other side. One side was steeper the the others, one side had more ups and downs, one side was simple like stairs, and the fourth side was a combination of steep and ups and downs. Lots of different things for the climber to do. He then had fetched the cushions again to lay down around the foot of the box course, for in case his student fell he would have something soft to land on. He hoped that he wouldn't have to use them though. He hoped the class went well. (( like the above image but... >_> better since the picture looks a bit crooked. ^_^;; ))

"Anoki Kenelm, stop running!" Raven panted a bit, trying to keep the ibex in her sights. She wasn't running, of course, but she did have to keep up a brisk pace with her steps nonetheless, and wasn't used to too much physical exertion.
Barely listening, Anoki slowed down a touch. By then he had reached the door, and checked the number on top. "Th-this's it, r-right?"
"I told you to stop running." As soon as she reached the door, Raven let loose one of her glares. She would have liked to box his ears, but sadly she was better than that. "You'll have lots of chores this evening for that."
Only then did she step through the door, examining the interior of the classroom. It was certainly... creative. "Thank you, Mr. Solon, for preparing a lesson on such short notice." To Anoki she gave a fierce whisper, which mostly went unheard, and then left. "I'll send Mahou to get him when the lesson is over."
Anoki was on cloud nine, and even the promise of more work didn't faze him. "L-look!" he said loudly, raising his arms- both of which were healthy looking and cast free, though one did have a small bandage around the wrist. "A-all b-b-better!"

Orpheus turned as the two appeared and gave a smile, "Ahh, perfect timing I just got done with setting it all up." He said then gave a nod to Raven, "Its not a problem at all, its what I am here for. You know, being a teacher and all." This was said jokingly.
He walked over closer to them nodding when she said that she would send someone for Anoki when he was finished up here, "Sounds good." Once she'd gone he gave a sighing sound of relief for some reason being around her made HIM feel less like a teacher and more like a student himself. She had a rather... intimidating feel to her that made even him seem to want to sit back and obey. Scary.
His attention was turned to Anoki, a smile once more spreading over his lips, "Nice, good to see you back to full health, will make your lesson easier I bet." He lead the way over to the box mountain, "It strong enough at all points to support my weight so you needn't worry about that. We will start out our climbing on which ever side you want to tackle first."

Relieved by the fact that his mother wasn't watching, and the teacher's easygoing attitude, Anoki pumped his arms in the air one more time. At least HE was glad about the cast being gone. Mama Ray didn't seem to care.
Then he heard the part about the boxes, and his eyes widened. Those boxes were for HIM? And not only that... "I g-get t-to climb? N-not g-g-gonna g-get in tr-trouble?"
Whenever Raven or Mahou caught him climbing things at home, like chairs or bookshelves, they would yell and make him get down. It got to the point that Anoki himself was a bit worried that something bad would happen if he tried, even if it looked like fun. But this teacher said he could. And he was told to listen to the teacher. Unsure, Anoki put one hand on the nearest box, waiting for further instruction.

"Yep, this is a climbing class all set up for you." He said, walking over to pat one of the boxes, "For the moment all that you have to do is climb around and get used to them. Get a feel for the different heights and for hopping about from level to level." Orpheus demonstrated by hopping up onto one of the boxes then up to the next, "Like so."
He gave a smile, "Balance, jumping, climbing, and your own 'I can do it' ability will be the important things here." He said then jumped down off the box he was on to land on the floor alongside Anoki, "If you think your ready hop up to the first box."

"W-wow!" Whatever else Anoki had been thinking was instantly replaced by the repeating thought that this teacher was COOL. He was actually allowed to climb and jump on things! And the teacher was even doing it too, which meant it had to be good, no matter what. A burst of adrenaline shot through Anoki, and before he knew it he had not only hopped onto the first box, but the one next to it, and was trying to see if he could go further without using his hands. He couldn't.
Then, in another rush of realization, Anoki saw that he had gone further than the teacher had asked. Hopefully he wouldn't mind, but habit drove him to make sure. "Is th-this ok-kay?"

Orpheus didn't scold the child, in fact he gave a whistle, "That was pretty dam... darn good for a first time." He said, quickly fixing the almost mix up that he'd made there in his speech. He really had to be careful with which words were good and which weren't so good he told himself mentally, he was working with children after all, "And with no hands too."
He nodded, "Keep going, see how far you can get towards the top." He said, motioning with his hands towards the 'peak' of Mt Boxes. It wasn't to terribly high that he thought Anoki couldn't make it, in fact he was encouraging him to try so that he could make it up to the top. And this time without pausing to make sure be was doing wrong. Orpheus was impressed with the boys energy and he seemed to have good balance, he mentally made these notes to write down later.

Made bold by the teacher's praise, Anoki nodded vigorously, which made him a bit dizzy, and set his sights on the next box. It was higher, and he would definitely need to use his hands. His left wrist was still somewhat stiff, so he put most of his weight on his right and tried to jump up. That didn't work, so he lifted one of his legs, putting his knee on the box. With that a little more stable, he pushed up again. That got his other knee on the box, but also nearly made him lose his balance. He had to hold onto the box in front of him to keep from falling backward, and it took several seconds for him to catch his breath.
At least the next box was easier. Anoki could do that one on his hands and knees, which was good, since the higher he went, the more reluctant he was to experiment. He was beginning to hesitate, remembering just how much he disliked falling, and the pain that came with it. He'd only been a few feet off the floor before...

Orpheus shifted on his feet, moving closer to the mountain of boxes and stood at the ready, if Anoki seemed as if he were about to fall he would jump into action. The boy had been able to catch himself though so he stayed at the base of Mt Boxes and watched, "Your doing really good." He called up to him. He could see the hesitation in his movements now though.
He found himself watching more closely now the way that he moved, hurting ones self could have a negative effect upon the mind, he knew this well enough. In his old job he'd gotten beat up quite often. He leaned against the boxes, "I am right here so you don't have to worry. If you fall I will catch you." He assured his student, wanting for him to feel safe.

Knowing that someone was there to help reassured Anoki a little, but there was still fear clouding his mind. Even teachers couldn't do everything. If he fell, it still might hurt. Then again, some things were worth getting hurt a little bit. Like the cookies he stole from the kitchen some days ago. They were hot, and the pan burned his fingers, but they were still really delicious, and chewy, as opposed to cold and crunchy.
And then he remembered something that Raven had said. "Fear does you absolutely no good. It wants you to think it does, but once you realize otherwise all you have to do is ignore it." The logic was slightly flawed, and Anoki didn't even know what most of it meant, but what he did realize was that being scared meant he'd be stuck on a pile of boxes. He had to try some things, even though they were scary. And for that, he had to stop being scared.
Still trembling a little, Anoki put one foot flat on the box, followed by the other, and straightened his legs. His hands were always touching parts of the boxes, either as floor or walls. Once he was upright he stepped slowly towards the next box up, placed his hands on it, and stepped up. The next one took a little more effort, and a couple tries, but Anoki kept at it in the slow yet determined fashion he was settling into. Once he had surmounted that one he looked around. It wasn't so bad. And he was getting closer to the top! Just a couple more steps...
The constant need for approval still lingered though, and Anoki cast another glance at his teacher. "K-kay?"

Orpheus walked around the structure looking over the boxes as Anoki chose his path up the mountain of them. He wasn't choosing what would be the easiest path that was sure, something that impressed Orpheus quite a bit. He was taking his time, being careful, was actually getting quite close to the goal, "Your doing very good, not far from the top now." He said, clapping his hands.
He'd left out the fact that, sitting on the upper most box, at the goal that was set for Anoki in his climbing class was a small glass box and within it a sort of prize for reaching the 'finish line' of sorts.
It was better after all for it to be a surprise for the boy to discover only when he made it to the top.

The last box was a bit higher than the others, at least from the angle at which he approached it. But by this time he had gained a bit of confidence. His face set, he planted his hands firmly on the top and kicked up, using his arms to hoist himself up and over the box's edge. He got his torso over, and after a few more moments of struggling pulled his upper body and knees onto the summit. Breathing heavily, the boy allowed himself to relax for a moment before rolling onto his knees and slowly, carefully, standing up.
And the view, even from a miniature mountain of boxes, was made beautiful from the satisfaction that Anoki felt. He did it. He really did it.
His foot contacted a small transparent case, which Anoki picked up and examined. At that point he sat down, feet dangling over the box's edge, and held the strange glass thing out to the teacher. "You f-forgot th-this."

Orpheus was a bit surprised and at the same time a bit pleased, "I don't think I have ever met anyone as honest as you." He told Anoki, nodding his head. He hopped up onto the first box then climbed up after him. He reached out to take the glass box and clicked it open, "Here hold out your hand." He told the boy, when he did so Orpheus turned it on his side, dumping the contents in Anoki's hand. "This is for you, for a job well done." He explained.

Orpheus' praise made Anoki smile. It meant that he was doing everything right, and that there would be no reason for him to say he did anything wrong. Even though he would have liked to examine the contents of the box further, giving it back meant he wouldn't get yelled at or more punishment, which would probably be better overall.
But it seemed that he would get to see what was in the box anyway. Holding out his hand obediently, Anoki's eyes widened as the round red gem dropped into it. Was it really for him? It was so pretty and shiny and RED. That meant that maybe his dragon would like it...
"Th-thanks s-s-so much!" Hand closing around the gem, Anoki grinned and pocketed his prize, then started down the box mountain. Going down was a little bit easier, especially since partway down he could jump off and land on pillows without hurting at all. The whole lesson made him feel a lot better about heights overall as well.

Orpheus hopped his way down, deciding that the class was a successful one as it had ended without any incident. That sure couldn't be said about all of his classes now could it? He shook his head and hopped off the last box, "I hope that you had some fun today with the class." He said to Anoki, he could tell the boy had been a bit unsure here and there but he'd kept on going instead of quitting, always a good thing.
"So do you need to call for that friend of yours? Mahou? The one that was going to come get you?" He asked of Anoki, "If so I have a phone you can use and you can also play in the classroom until he arrives."
He looked over at the box mountain and decided that he would wait until later to bother taking it apart and bringing the boxes back to the storage room that he'd found them in. For now though he was gonna slack off, after all he'd drug them all in today so he was allowed a break.
