Large white feet crushed the grass beneath them like it was nothing, though with every step the mind appologized. Aka was such a softy and a teddy bear that the wolf was hurt with everything he stepped on and everything that would suffer for it.

But he lived all the same. The large husky colored wolf knew that it was just the way that life was lived and he could move on when others couldn't. He would pray for the soul of the hare he killed and hope that it made it up into the heavens above at the same time he ate it. How else could you live? You had to eat right?

His tail swished about his ankles lightly as he looked lazily around with his bi-colored eyes, not entirely seeing everything but not dissmissing it either.

Along she went. Step after step. It had been a few days since she had last had any contact with any wolves. She was constantly lost, then, when she actually found a wolf that would acknowledge her, he was gone the next morning. Not even saying good-bye. But Ohka couldn't hold grudges against others, only herself. She blamed herself for all her problems, everything she experienced, everything that she was.

Sometimes she despised herself so much that she'd refuse to eat for days, refuse to drink water for fear of looking at her own reflection. Seeing the wolfess she had become, alone, exiled from her previous pack, unable to do anything on her own. Only meeting one wolf, Savhir, that was interesting to her more subtle side;darker side. She didn't know why she had enjoyed such things as the smell of blood in a savage manor.

And she hated herself for it.

Her stomach was emopty, no longer full from the deer she had eaten prviously, she was hungry and alone and cold. Here she lay in the quietness of the forest, curled up by teh trunk of a tree, wrapping her tail around herself, her longer fur atop her head falling into her view, sheilding her silver eyes from the reality she wished to no longer be within.

She was lost.

The sturdy white legs carried the wolf over the ground slowly as he swished his tail agains this hind legs over and over, clearing the dust that was rising up before it got a chance to go anywhere. He didn't have any allergies to speak of, yet at the same time he didn't want to harm those that had them.

On some level he was too soft, on other levels he was a little too blunt.

Eyes snapped in the direction of a growl that his ears caught on the smallest sliver of the wind. One of his red ears flicked in that direction and the red husky marked wolf turned his two-toned gaze upon the female that lay curled under the tree.

He wasn't one to make conversation unless it was needed, though he was also one to protect and do what he could for others. To see one such as this in pain hurt him a little bit. If only because he liked to make others smile and make their hearts at ease.

After the loss of his own pack and his own way of living, the large once beta wolf was a little at odds about what he should and shouldn't do.

"What's wrong?" His deep voice ghosted through the air in the direction of the female, gaining an airy sense the minute it left from his snow white muzzle.

Ohka was shivering because she felt cold, not that it might have been cool because of the air. But her body felt like ice, her head felt like it was turning to ice, a head ache was coming on, that she knew. When she heard a voice she automatically curled up even more, now shaking out of fear.

She knew that if she tried, she could defend herself. But soemtimes she didn't like that side of her. That side had gotten her in trouble many times. "Please..." she spoke softly, her voice being cast awya by the wind quickly, "please...please don't hurt me..."

She was exhausted and tired, her mouth was dry adn now a strange wolf was around her. Her ears flattened against her skull as her silver eyes were still hidden beneath the longer fur draped over her view. What had she done now? Probably wandered into a pack's territory. She cursed at herself internaly. Her body was shaking and her voice was that of a whisper, she wondered if she should've spoken or just stayed quiet.

"And why would I do that young miss?" Akamichi asked of her, his tail siwshing around his hind legs as he sat down in the dust, still apologising to the spirits of the grass itself as he did so.

To see this little white female with her red markings, laying in front of him shivering as if she were sick beyond words. It almost made the large red male want to walk over and lay down beside her to warm her up.

Though from the looks of it t here was no way to do that. She was shivering from things other than physical self.

"What brings you to the middle of nowhere? Escaping the insults or pains of a pack by coming where none reside? Or just lost beyond words?" Aka asked in a fatherly, calm voice. He didn't mind if she didn't answer.

Lifting his head he looked up at the tree above. There were birds up in the air there, he wanted to grab her something, but he didn't know how well that would work.

Ohka tightened her tail around herself and spoke softly in the night air, "Because everyone has...." her voice held so much pain emotionally and physically. Everyone she had ever met had hurt her in some way, she just wanted it all to stop, the pain to stop, to get off of the roller coaster she seemed to be stuck on.

"I can't get away..." she said honesntly, raising her head so that her silver eyes peaked at him from behind her longer fur atop her head, "It always hurts...and I can't make it stop..." Ohka felt like she was a disgrace of a wolfess, the only one who had spoken to her (even if it was not on equal terms) had been that wolf Savhir, but he had gone away too. She hurt so much, but feared it would always be with her, that her parents might have been true;

That she was nothing.

"Well then it's a very good thing that I'm not everyone isn't it?" Akamichi said in a ghostly voice, his two toned eyes getting stern and slightly angry. He didn't like being catagorized with every wolf that had ever hurt this female, but then she probably did it out of a reflex of need to protect herself from the pain.

It didn't seem to be working very well in his opinion, but then who was he to judge?

Walking closer to her the large red wolf gazed down at her.

"Not everyone is the same little one. I don't intend to bring any harm to you, simply wish to know what it is that makes you so sad and lost." Aka explained to her as he sat down in front of her, he wasn't looking directly at her, rather off to the side where she wouldn't feel so akward or afraid if she were to look up at him again. "The only way to make it stop hurting is to get to the source of what's caused it."

That was the only advice that Akamichi could force from his muzzle, as he still wasn't sure why he was still there. The calling in his heart had stopped, though he wasn't sure from what.

Ohka felt quite small next to Aka, but she didn't scoot away from him. Whenevr she had done that in the past she had been punished, she didn't want to get hurt again, even if Aka had said he wouldn't hurt her, others has said that same statement time and time again to her.

"I-I don't have anywhere to go...I'm alone...they'll hurt me if I try and go back...they'll hurt me if they see me again..." she spoke softly. She missed her pack, her family, even if they hated her she jsut wanted to feel wanted again, have the feeling that she belonged somewhere.

"How can I make it go away if I can't see them without bringing on more?" she asked sadly looking up at him. Her eyes held sadness and loneliness, OHka was alone in the world. Which was one thing she feared most of all. "I don't want to be alone ..."
