Not quite old enough to be weened, but old enough for their eyes to open and for them to walk about, and they were certainly old enough to begin learning words, and explore outside of the den that was home.
Ausi was up first that morning, perhaps even having risen with the sun? She looked over their family and felt a soft smile form, moving in close enough to lick the top of each of their heads one by one. Once they woke up today they'd be taken outside to see the world outside. Ausi'Juu would, meanwhile, entertain herself with guesses on what their different reactions might be.
Unknown to her, Jing'Fei was already rousing with a great yawn. He rolled over comically and landed with his back in Choa's face, or maybe it was Ai's, he wasn't awake enough to tell or care. Mother's morning kiss was what roused him from dreamland, and it was impossible to drift back off now.
He sniffed tiredly and pulled himself to sit up, relieving his sibling of his close proximity. Sleepy gray-green eyes looked about the den with curiosity unspoken. Why did it feel so early? Was daddy still asleep?

Ai'kunliu, on the other paw, had attempted to remain in slumber when his mother's 'kiss' of affection got itself all over his forehead ( Great, now I have to fix my fur when I get up...), pushing the spare bit of fur that hinted at his future mane to stick up el-macho-ey on his head. Or perhaps it would remind someone of a rare weed of some unknown sort. Either or.
However, his ruse to remain sleeping was quickly interuptted by another outside disturbance. One that landed right in his face, causing him to mewl in distress at his 'territory' being invaded, and for him to start off on a 'mini assault' on his sibling's back, least an attempt at such, with his practically harmless little claws..
but none the less.
His bright eyes stirred ever so little as he now peeked to see what the offending outside force was, determining with the little flecks of color of gold and white, as well as the side it was 'attacking' him from, that it was indeed his brother, Jing, and not his sister, as she was on his other side.
Unless he'd rolled over in his sleep. Who knew anymore?
However, the offending brotherly mass was soon pulled away, and the cub sat himself up meekly onto his stomach, eyelids still half closed with the pressure of returning to his sleeping ways, before the light caught his eyes, causing him to whine and cover them beneath his paws, while hiding himself partially behind his brother's body as another sheild.
Too early for this...

Even at this young age, it was easy to tell that Daimyn and his eldest daughter shared several remarkable traits aside from main pelt color.
Such as the need for sleep. Just as Daimyn was hardly ever an early riser unless Ausi woke him up, Choa was displaying this same trait. She was curled at her father's flank with the body heat of another sibling bordering her other side.
As the other cubs stirred, Daimyn began to awake, his front claws scraping the ground a bit as he stretched. His movement awoke Choa, who simply rolled over, buried her nose in her tail-tuft, and tried to remain asleep as long as physically possible.
Daimyn smiled and nosed her gently in the side, and Choa gave up, acknowledging the fact that waking would be inevitable.

((Bleck, I can't choose a good color for her crying *attempted to go towards her eye color since yellow is garrish*))
-Already it was becoming apparent, the little one's affinity for the night, and last evening had been no different. Xu, still a little unsteady on her young legs had wandered over and over around her mother and father, batting lightly at an ear here, licking a tail there. She just couldn't seem to sleep despite the inviting look of the other slumbering bodies. Perhaps it was because she HAD slept most of the day before, while the others played and vied for attention?
Having only fallen to sleep a few hours before the sun and mother rose Xu gave a wide yawn at the soft affection, a soft mewl escaping her. Streching tiny ivory paws, she yawned once more, heavy eyes openning softly to peer up and after her mother, a soft whimper leaving her throat.- "Morning already?"

Ausi settled down beside Daimyn with a low purr as their children began to rouse one by one. Just No was asleep still now, it seemed, and all of them had their share of objection and complaint to give, but she was sure they'd be excited once they saw why they'd been disturbed so early in the day.
As she gazed over the litter with whispering jade eyes they held a spark of secretive mirth.
"Yes, little gems, it's morning already."
Xu and Ai seemed the most disappointed, and Ausi reached a paw out to scoop them both up, drawing them in to her chest and offering a bit more warmth from the light n** of the morning air. Her purring persisted affectionately, savoring the moments. She knew that all too soon someday they'd not be her little kids anymore, but old enough to strike out on their own. It made her a little sad, but proud to know they'd become capable adults one day.
Jing'Fei, the oldest brother (in training), squeaked loudly in surprise and jerked away from his only brother, Ai. The little dragon looked a little displaced for a moment before finding a target and smirking. Seconds later he was already stalking up on Choa with a mischevious grin, batting at her ear.

The feeling of being lifted by his mother's hefting paw received a mewl of discomfort from Ai, whom was finding his place of perfect sibling-assault opportunity, especially that of his younger sister, No, whom he eyed wearily, was indeed beind relocated to another position. However, this didn't prevent his attempts to swat at the cub that was as black as their father was white, along with a weak attempt to 'roar' in her general direction, which came out more like the sound of a cat trying to hard to sound like it was dying.
Yes. It was -that- horrible.
Ears perking a bit against his mother's chest, Ai attempted to mimick the vibrating sounds of the purr his mother seemed to have on 'repeat', pressing his paws gingerly into the fluff of fur that was her chest, rubbing his nose into it, and licking the fur down in a semi-affectionate motion, before looking up at Ausi with wide eyes, his front paws pressed against her chest to support his tiny body in almost a 'standing' position while investigating her morning face, while almost blending in with her fur in the dim lighting in the back of the cave, though his frequent and curious movements gave him away as not being a strange Ai-colored growth on Ausi's body.
"Why are we up so early?" he then piped up in inquiry, pondering to himself secretly if he could go back to bed.

Despite the noises made by her siblings, and the gentle passings of her mother’s tongue, the lean black cub remained curled to the far right of the den- either still sound asleep, or pretending marvelously. The sound of her mother’s warm tone did hike enough attention in No to perk the corner of her ear, but lazily she allowed it to settle once again and do her best to ignore the jostling bodies of her brothers and sisters.
Such soft voices the others had! It was almost silky enough to coax words out of her own throat- but, it remained still. Even awake she did not seem to speak much, although when she did her own voice was as soft and childish as the rest.
More jostling, and somewhat whimsically she opened a pale green eye, the pupils quickly contracting with the flooding of morning light. Deciding it was too bright, it rolled shut again; and she kept up the meticulous appearance of being asleep.

-As she was swept off, and pressed against the comfort of her mother's chest, Xu gave a soft strech, little appendages reaching outwards haphazardly in an attempt to wake them. When finally they began to tingle with the soft flow of blood, she nuzzled into her mothers warm pelt. Offering a sleepy smile, as her tiny tail flopped lazily back and forth.
A contented little murr escaping herself as she slowly woke, eyes attempting to get used to the dim light as she gazed around the den at her family, soft whisper leaving her young throat.- "Morning..."

Even as Choa had been lazily half-asleep the moment before, an assault by her brother Jing startled her completely awake. She rolled over on her backside with a tiny yowl, displaying four paws with tiny claws extended at the younger male.
All of it was in play, of course, and she was quickly on her feet, attempting to topple her brother over with her weight.
Daimyn gave a smile as Ausi joined him, echoing Ausi's purr with a rumble of his own. Casting a glance over his children, he reached out to pick up No in his teeth, his jaws gently closing around her middle and setting her down before him.

Looking at his sister, whom was also posted at mommy's chest, the cub giggled, reaching out with a paw and batting at her playfully, though he left his weight leaning against Ausi.
"Silly Xu... of -course- it's morning.." he giggled, oblivious to it being a shortened greeting to their mother.
His attention then turned to No as their father relocated him, grinning and crawling up next to the other cub, prodding at her with a paw to see if she'd move, before throwing his weight onto her in his rough manner of playfulness.
"Gettup, No!" he demanded, grasping one of her ears with his teeth and pulling on it...
hard.

Jing laughed and fell over onto his side, pawing and grappling with his older sister with delight. Who was stronger?
"I think that some of them are more awake than we are, airen." Ausi smirked, "and since you all are so energetic, we might as well get on to your baths." She added before drawing her tongue over Xu's small form repeatedly in a cleaning motion.

-A soft wiggle and giggle errupted from the cub as the soft wet sensation of her bath, brought her completely out of that sleepyness. Tiny paws reaching out to swat harmlessly at her mother's nose with each drawing motion.- "Clean and bright!" -Simple matter of fact words full of contentment left the little one as she waited patiently to be let down, so she could play with her siblings.-

"Yes, our little shining stars," She grinned to Xu as she finished up, setting her on her paws and nudging her towards her sisters and brothers with her nose.
Jing'Fei's ears had flattened in horror at the reveleation of his mother's intentions, but before he could detangle from Choa's grip Ausi'Juu was finishing with Xu's bath and reaching over easily to capture the oldest boy of the litter by the scruff of his neck.
"Noooo! Moooom~! I don't need a bath, I'm just gonna get dirty again anyway!"
"You'll get itchy and catch fleas and flies if you don't keep clean, Jing, now if you hold still this'll be over quicker and you all can have breakfast. Right?"
"Mmffmfmmfrmm..." He muttered, but his mother just picked up the task of grooming his fur while he laid limp in her paws. T T

All of a sudden the small female felt ambushed on all angles. The child shifted in surprise as her brother started to call for her in her ear. Somewhat distractedly she turned her head and gave him a sharp glower- something which was quickly cut short when the large white head of her father curved down and collected her into his mouth. At once No mewed apologetically and watched as the den sunk and she rose.
There was no panic in being lifted, and the end of her tail gently shifted as her slightly chubby body adjusted to the unusual feeling of being mouthed. She liked the attention though, and her face did nothing to hide a slight please as Daimyn lowered her down and in front of his paws.
With a small yawn the cub stretched, and crawled beneath the large lion’s paws. “Too early.” She responded simply, and made herself a nest underneath the great cave of feet and belly.
From across the den her eyes darted towards her brothers- Particularly Jing, who was in the middle of having his bath. No took this as a cue to dig a bit closer to her father with a laxed smile.

Ai watched in horror as Xu took her turn in cleaning, then Jing was scooped up, realizing that soon, it would be -his- turn, and, in the best case scenerio, he'd only have two other siblings before him. With a slight whine, he went bounding to his father, shoving his sister, or at least -attempting- to, with much failure, to move, before simply crawling over her to hide in the fluff of Daimyn's stomach, whining and peeking out over No at his brother as he was bathed.
Mrr.
"..Don'twannagodon'twannagodon'twannago.." he chanted, wishing fervently now, that it had been JING whom had been born with his mother's coat, and he born with his father's. Then, at least, he would blend in with him.
