It would've stopped after you've had answered a certain amount. The only time you can get 10g per poll each time you answer a poll, no matter how many times you answer them, is if you have over 1k posts.

Half the time pollwhoring never worked for me even though I had 1k posts [not sure if this one does yet]. O: IT'S A CONSPIRACY

I just tested, I get 12 gold a poll now(out of 10 polls I did, I get 120 gold total).
