Okay, I think I remember why I didn't put down my SN on Gaia for everyone to access, I was paranoid that some annoying person would IM me and won't stfu. Well, now I have learned the hard way. I've been IMed from a few people on Gaia, and maybe, like, TWO people were sane. ...And from this guild. The other ones were just random... and annoying. It's like, they're telling me things they could've said through Gaia. And now this guy is asking me to be his friend... And he won't stfu. >_< After asking him like, 10 times who he was, he finally said. AND I DON'T EVEN KNOW HIM. He's like, my stalker. People these days. >>;

I know what you mean. @_@ I don't know half the people that IMs me now. Half IMs me talking about Star Ocean 3, the other half talks about my sig images.
And horrible grammer or attitude, etc. Blah. x_x; They never mean any harm or anything, but sometimes, some things just don't make sense which gets annoying..

And... he's asked me 10+ times why I won't be his friend. And each time I said, 'I don't know you.' Please, oh, god, make him stfu! >_<
Edit: He just asked if we could be aquantices. (ph33r my horrible spelling. >>; ) I have a feeling I should've said no. XD;

Ugh, I know what you mean. I put my AIM SN for my screen name thing on here. So far only one guy I don't know has IMed me, he can be annoying sometimes, begging for donations and stuff but it's not too bad. At least with AIM I don't have to be signed in all the time. I knew better than to put my AOL name, which I have to be on when I'm online. I don't really mind people IMing me, even if I don't know them, as long as they aren't terribly annoying.

I get people talking to me. I got one girl talking to me cause I have bunny ears (proof they're better than cat ears. wink ).
I've also had people talk to me who aren't even from the VGD. Including one person with who I was on their buddy list for no reason.

There was like one or two times having my AIM name posted was a benefit....but more often than not it was a burden. Mostly I got noobs begging for gold.

Some people just annoy me. I get IM's from people on this site, some sane, but 90% of them asking for my items, for gold or something else utterly lame. ~_~

Eh, when I used to have AIM on all the time and was posting a lot (which I haven't been almost at all lately..) I rarely got IMs from people on GAIA. I got one or two, but they were usually from people actually saying thanks (*Gasp*) to me for pointing out the FF subforum.
I want people to IM me acting all stupid so I can have some fun with them and tell them I love them. =(
