August 19, 2006D4rkone I'm pretty sure Tamoko will put this up once she sees it but I'll post it here for now. OFFICIAL HOTEL UPDATES!!!The Days Inn is completely sold out. The hotel sold out within hours of our 2007 date announcement. The Hyatt Regency Baltimore convention block is sold out. However you may be able to get rooms, just not at the convention rate. The Holiday Inn Inner Harbor is offering a flat rate of $174. They are very nearly sold out. The Wyndham is offering a flat rate of $145. The Holiday Inn Express At The Stadiums is offering a flat rate of $169. The Radisson Lord Baltimore is offering the following rates: $149 - single/double; $169 - triple; $189 - quad The Treemont Plaza is offering the following rates: Premier Queen - $199 (single/double), $219 (triple), $239 (quad) Studio (queen or doubles) - $169 (s/d), $189 (t), $209 (q) The Renaissance Harborplace is offering the following rates: $209 (single), $229 (double), $249 (triple), $269 (quad) The Baltimore Marriott Inner Harbor is offering the following rates: $199 (single), $219 (double), $239 (triple), $259 (quad) Thank you, D4rk! <3

Otakon announces its first guest for Otakon 2007!
We'll soon be flipping the switch for Otakon 2007, but we thought we'd share a little holiday cheer with our members by announcing one of our guests a bit early -- and there was only one name that fit for a Christmas announcement: Mike Sinterniklaas.
Mike's the brains (and sometimes the voice) behind NYAV Post, who've dubbed numerous anime (including Ah! My Goddess TV, Giant Robo, and Ninja Nonsense). Mike's anime resume includes roles from Ataru in Urusei Yatsura to Hikora in Kakurenbo, and he's been featured in hugely popular anime like Bubblegum Crisis, Fullmetal Alchemist, Shaman King, and even Pokemon.
He's probably best known at the moment as the voice of Dean
Venture in Venture Brothers, Mikey in Kappa Mikey, and Leonardo in the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles TV series.
