Okay we're getting the order thing taken care of. Be happy. Dance for joy.
Ahem the true purpose of this thread is to suggest things. I hope it isn't used a lot (I'd like to think things are going well you know).
Why is it that everytime I sit down to type this intro, my mind goes blank??
Heck. If you get an idea suggest it, you never know what'll happen. *goes back to sleeping*

*only one person has written a serious perposal and that was me, everyone else has just been voicing their oppions, Except Dukkie, who's done more, he's the reason I wrote this thing.*
Here's my perposal to everyone.
Order.
We need at least one hardass Mod, why? because the guild has gone under in a matter of minutes, everyone made their own threads and now no one is in one place and it's like the thread AND the guild died all at once. Here are my suggestions in an easy to follow manner.
THE THREADS (that stay * indicates a sticky):
Chatter*
Post * (Greyon's critque and redline should be merged here with it)
Links*
Announcements/Rules* (with the fate thread moved into it)
Naked Avis
Fannypack (by brenji but name to be changed to something simple)
Coloring book (named changed to something simple)
Who are you (change to a simple name like Artist Profiles)
SUGGESTED TITLES:
Fanny Pack Fanlisting = just Fanbanners/listings
another Satsu-essque thread = Coloring books
Who are you - Artist profiles
As harsh as it sounds I believe the others should be deleted, because they are making the whole guild a mess and a headache.
As for the order and rules, there should be guidelines for all threads, only subjects pertainting to the theme of the thread should be posted, no chattering nothing, just what you go for.
In the post the picture should be posted, followed by a short explination or none, and only other posts made by others should be a serious critque or a thankyou or a suggestions to the art.
The chatter if juust exactly like the DTAAY origional thread, you can post shmooze anything there.
The naked avy should only have posts of naked avy's or edit requests, no conversations, same with all the others in that like fashion.
PLEASE PLEASE!! Ask for more dedicated mods (I WISH I could've applied, but they were locked before I could, I have no life and I'm always on gaia, and I'm an oldbie.) I would've loved to have been a mod, and I know Dukkie would have liked to also for the reasons of order. please.. read this and take it into consideration!
Another suggestion before MAKING a new thread of personal thread you should get permission from the maker of the guild or one of the mods.

I second Jokers purposal... Why? Becusae I can.. and what she said made a point.
The 'Draw the Avi Above You' thing is(in my opinion) dying becuase of threads that were made in a matter of minutes, then later on abandoned and then a new one popped up... I mean, the threads aren't bad, but everyone's seperated to their own little corner in the guild now... Making it hard for anyone to draw someone at all. Thus, in a way... killing the 'Draw the Avi Above You' thing... sweatdrop
And about the MOD thing... I will try and talk to Riko about it ASAP(if I remember) when she gets online... and back from her concert(in about half an hour...).

I think that any threads that are relevant to the DTAAY from fads to drawing should be allowed as long as they are labeled properly.
I don't agree with Joker in molding my thread in with a general post your art thread, in fact I'd encourage more diverse kinds of post your art threads but just a single generic one.
(Elaboration on that particular comment: We can have the normal draw the avatar above you for gaia pictures and my critique thread has NOTHING to do with that, it's for the people here who are artists who want to get better or are stuck. If you lumped them into one thread it'd get confusing as to who wants to be critiqued and who doesn't. Some people just want to draw, I know my sketches fo this thread are total crap and I don't want feedback. I'd like to give feedback but I don't wnat to have to scroll through pages and page to look for the person who wants it. Also here is a friendlier environment for critiquing than the Art section on gaia, because we aren't going to be cruel when giving feedback.)
We have a huge space here and we might as well use it. I don't mean that everyone should have their own thread where they can spam till the end of time. I think as chatting goes there should be ONE strictly chat thread for when you know you just aren't going to draw that day, one Offical DTAAY thread for posting pictures and then some threads that are just characteristically DTAAY like Brenji's banner thread and Kivi's Candybar Doll thread.
With space like this we can have threads with doll bases where people can try out that or even an art challege thread where every week we can have some topic like "Draw without any lines, shapes only" As long as things are labeled properly everything will become more coherent.
I'm kinda stressing the art thing mainly cause I was a admin on an art forum a year ago and that's what I know. *shrugs* (It took a while to write this. Eeep! Bedtime)
*** ALSO: Use stickies sparringly. If we only have like 20 threads, why would we need stickies. It's a little place we can navigate it fine once it's organized, we won't need more than a couple stickies at most. Or at least that's been my experience with other GGN places)

Hmmm. Yes, yes . . . Geryon's notions as well as Jokers are very goOd suggestions. xd
(I suppose I shouldn't be posting if I don't have further thigns to suggest)
Hence, errm. (shrugs)
As you might know, many people are just happy that we finally have our own guide. Eager to post and what not.
I'm sure that everything will fall into place within a couple more days. Especially now that we have more dedicated DTAAY moderators. heart

Kind of like the Gaian balls and Olympics and stuff. You know like a limited time thread? That's just my take on it though. sweatdrop

Quick suggestion...
I've noticed, and I know I'm not the only one who has, that the original thread has slowed down considerably. I'm here to offer a suggestion, no matter how small and perhaps terrible, to help.
I think we should save the guild for art. Use it to post art, perhaps comment on it, do little contests of our own, and all things such as that. Use the original to chatter amongst ourselves, to post new pics (that would be later set in a guild thread), and generally carry on like we had been.
I know it probably wouldn't work, but... well... hey it's just an idea from someone who just woke up. *Shrugs*

I'm totally all for this suggestion. In what little experience I've had, guilds tend to get pretty messy. I enjoyed hanging around the thread more. *rushes back there* xp whee

We can still keep the guild up with exclusive DTAAY offers, like art or pixel sprites or whatever, and of course contests that only members can get in on.

It's a good suggestion, but to me it feels like if we're going to constantly stay in the old thread, then we've just mostly wasted 20k.
Technically. We should use the guild for the chatter and the old thread for the art if you think about it.
The thread is in the word games forum, meaning we're supposed to kind of play the game in there. If someone got pissy with us, they could report it and there is quite a chance the thread could get deleted or moved (which isn't that bad, but yeah)...

I'd rather it be drawings with random chatter than chatter with random drawings... I feel like a hypocrite though, since I haven't done any drawings for a little while now.
