Now, I am a noobie to this guild (got accepted today actually)
and I've never played FFVII but have played other Final Fantasy Games
(VI, VIII, IX, X, X-2, TACTICS ADVANCE)
and I have a question
if you bought Final Fantasy VII after playing other Final Fantasy games do the FFVII graphics take away the fun in this day and age?
I want to buy it and I'm willing to pay $30 for it but I am reluctant because of the graphics

Nuuu! xd The graphics aren't the best, but they're cute! (at least I think).
And the storyline is so good that it won't matter to you that everyone's polygonal and chibbi-like. sweatdrop

There's more to a game then just the graphics. I would buy FFVII(if I didn't have it) for the storyline, the gameplay, the characters, etc. Just because the graphics aren't as good as they are in video games nowadays, it wouldn't stop me from buying it.

YesI would to.(I already have it though.)I got it for 20$.I had a coupon to reduct 10$.It was originaly 30$.

The graphics may seem funny at first but wait untill you get into the ingame battles. Even by todays standards they could equal a late PS1 title, the ingame battles are amazing even by todays standards.
FFVII has an amazing story, amazing gameplay, amazing characters, an amazing muscial score, and amazing graphics [for its time]
Today the graphics do seem bad, but the storyline, gameplay and characters and music makes up for it. If you ask me it's the PERFECT RPG. It's what revolutionized the genre.
Once you get 20 minutes into it, you wont care about the graphics because the story just sucks you in.

As everyone said, the best part of FFVII is the story. Which is in my opinion, the best that Square has come up with thus far.

Man u will not regret buyin FF7 i got it for 50 when i was 8 and i would keep buyin it if i didnt have it.it is the best RPG ever made and has the best game storyline ever. So it is worth all of king midas' gold when u get it.Enjoy

I bought mine. . Really expensive. Not over a hundred dollars, though. I almost got it for 35 on eBay, but some other bidder just HAD to raise the price. By the time the auction was over, it was well over a hundred. So I just bought it on Amazon, the cheapest I could find that was still in stock. >_>
But it's a great storyline, and you'll get used to the graphics. I like them. -^-^-
Oh, and guys, I don't think you can get it for twenty bucks anymore. . Being a PSX game, they don't make it, and since the release of Advent Children, the price skyrocketed.
Funny how I got Advent Children and Last Order for only four dollars, though, seeing how expensive the game was. >_>
