It was.... beautiful. I stepped out side, and the smell.... Oh the smell! The smell of Halloween! I nearly cried with happiness. I rushed back inside, and got some food, and went back out. I sat on my chair, and just staied there, smelling the approching All Hallow's Eve. When I finally went back inside, I flung open my two windows and let the air come in. I didn't close them until 6 hours later.

I love that feeling and I love smelling the air and that's how I know halloween is near. So far I haven't been able to smell it here yet. *sighs* But soon because the weather is getting a bit cooler. surprised

Yep, yep. I was driving home last night and saw the neighbors had their Halloween decorations up. Made me happy. xd

It was kind of funny since it was like 94 degrees outside at the time, but there was a strange smell in the air that reminded me of rotting leaves... I love that smell! It means that Halloween is getting closer and closer... And the sky was all orange with a tad of purple at one end and dark blue at the other and I just sighed and flopped down on the ground under my maple tree and watched as the winds made the branches sway back and forth. It was great!

Does anyone else love just.. raking up the dead leaves in piles, and just jumping in them, and laying there enjoying the cold breeze, staring up at the bare trees? With that absolutely breath taking sunset sky? It's like.. heaven.. only with that special touch of Fall and Halloween. gonk heart

well this is my first post but a very good starting topic.I was just accepted today.Enough on my history, I felt the same feeling.A cold front is suppose to come through my state tomorrow and hopefully it will start the nice feeling of changes in the season.I don't know about you guys, but the last two years on Halloween night have been freezing cold!I still enjoy it though, good feeling in the air even though I can't move after the first breeze.

It doesent smell like fall here yet. I hope it does soon though. Its one of my most favorite smells! I also like the smell before it rains.. but a cool breeze and drying leaves is better still whee
