Okay I'm a bit new to this particular guild, so I don't know how strict you guys are. So if this is bad, wrong, bad, no, then delete the thread and give me a good slap on the wrist. Anyways, I was looking around and noticed that you guys didn't have just a random thread where people could just come in and talk about whatever they fancy, so I decided to make the random thread! A thread where you can come in and talk about school, work, whatever. Come on guys, GUILD BONDING TIME!

This is probably a good idea, so that we don't randomly talk about stuff by going off topic in other threads xd I have no objections to this thread, haha, but I don't have enough time to actually post and talk since I'm about to leave -_-

I think the idea of an off topic thread was brought up by Lithwen in another thread some time ago. So it's probably ok. I don't see why not.
(You know what this thread should be called, though? "And Now For Something Completely Off-Topic!" Anyone? Bueller? Anyone? Ok, I'm done XD)

Uhhhh, I finished making a scarf today. The sides are uneven, and it has several knots from where my cat bit through the yarn and I had to tie it back together, but it's finally done. ...Okay, I'll shut up now.

Haha, cool xD I can never sew stuff or make stuff, I suck at stuff like that. I did nothing today! Yay! Mom woke me up at 7 for school, but I was sick, so I stayed home (slept in till noon! Woot!) and then I watched the FOTR EE, then I came up here on the computer. Amazing, huh? xd

I just need a place to complain a little bit about school... *twitches*
For my world history class, we have to copy map straight from the books. Every line, every detail, the key, the longitude and latitude lines, the bloody areas were mountain ranges are (the rough, dark areas on a map). We even have to color them correctly. And we can't just hand in the maps alone, oohh no. We have to have a cover page with full-color and DETAILED illustrations on it AND a table of contents.
Why the heck do we have to do this?! My teacher is the only one who does it! I don't understand the point! And the first map thingie was just two maps - next time it'll be three, and everytime after that, five maps at a time.
*bangs head against her table* And I was looking forward to world history...

That sounds insane, Dranyari... more like an art class or cartography class than a World History class. I think I'd twitch too xp

Don't I know it. *rubbing her still sore hand* I was lucky enough to do a good portion of the thing over the weekend, but I was up until 10:30 last night finishing it (and I'd been working non-stop since 4 PM). I finished up, went upstairs, flopped on my bed, and was dead to the world until 6 this morning.
*eye spasm again* And there was also this girl in my class, who is one the best artists I know at school, who wasn't going to be satisfied with a simple A; oohh no, she asked the teacher to do extra credit and she did a gorgeous picture of the Buddha. >< There is no doubt in my mind she is going to get an A++(+), while everyone else (who didn't get an option of extra credit) will have to make do with less (and I'm one of the people who isn't an artistic genius).
*grumbles loudly*

I don't know if he realises he does it. My wisdom teeth are growing in. The bottom left one hurts me and makes it hard to eat solid foods. I need to go to the dentist sad

Do you have to get them removed? So far, I haven't had to deal with wisdom teeth so I can't tell you what it's like.
