ok, i am just wondering. i have gone to evry last place that has leaches. i have murded and sqeezed the jellie out of at least 100. HOW RARE IS THE DARNED CARBUNCLES RUBY!?!?!?!?!?

It's just luck. Sometimes some get it on the 5th leech, some on their 1st, and some on the 50th. The best place I heard to kill leeches for the ruby is out in Buburimy Peninsula which was where I went to get my ruby along with countless other rubys for others. Just bring a THF friend with ya to help make it slightly easier with Treasure Hunter or maybe even Treasure Hunter II.

The Carbuncles Ruby is the 5rd to most hard to find in the game...
It has a 1% drop rate. You can easily find it on Buburimu Peninsula or Qufim Isle.

My ls mate came with me because I needed help. He was a Rdm/Thf(I think the sub is right.) But he got me the ruby on about the 34th try. It was the longest time he had ever had getting it. But still. He had a lot of luck. But of course, that is the hardest part. But the long part takes forever.....getting all of the elements. I started at 9 p.m. and went to about 1 am and still wasn't done....so good luck.

it tooke me a couple hours in quifim with my mithra. second time around i got it on the first drop in bubu, the ruby isnt the hardest part, its getting the snow weather effect i think.
But ive unlocked all the adv jobs...smn isnt the hardest to unlock by far.

it took me a few hours also i had a pld/thf frined of mine to help me get the ruby at buburimu peninsula. and then a high level thf came along so we asked him to help and he replied kindly with a yes. he got a ruby for himself my frined and himself....in under an hour!it was amazing what a thf can do for ya.
