History: LC is short for Lord Changeling. This isn't my true name of course, but rather the name I've adopted over the years. I was born in the land of the fey, but shortly after birth I was switched with a human baby, and left for the unknowing human parents to raise as their son, Lennox Creighton. I know nothing about my true parents, and I know very little about the world I was born into, and cast out from. In most senses I suppose myself to be an unwanted orphan. My parents never knew of the switch, and they raised me as well they could. My father was a minor lord of a small set of islands, and my mother was one of the local women he had fallen in love with. Sometimes I suspect that she knew the truth of what I was, for I never did form a close bond with my mother, nor my father for that matter. But that was mostly because he was always so busy tending to his lands.
Eventually they grew old, and as is human nature, they died, leaving me all that was once theirs. I should make a note that I didn't always look the way I do now. In the past I was a raven haired young man with blue eyes and normal human features. I had discovered what I was early in my youth, the list of small evets is too long to really quote, but needless to say I picked up early that I was different, and through simple research and trials I was capable of discovering what I was. I did not explore what I was till my parents had left this world, for fear of somehow hurting them with the revealed truth. Though we had never been close, I did indeed love them.
I inherited my fathers lands, and shortly afterwards I began to fully immerse myself in discovering my roots. I do not know if it was by accident or design, I came to lose the humanish appearence that I had born while living with my parents. My hair turned a rich shade of amethyst and upon my back sprouted the most curious of wings. My new appearence seemed to further alinate me from the rest of the people around me, and so I started to withdraw myself.
I gave up the main castle, and moved to one of the uninhabited islands on the very edge of my fathers lands. Slowly I began to give away those lands I had inherited. Giving them to the people that currently dwelled upon them, rather then deal with monthly rounds to all of the provinces and dealing with the stares and whispers.
My studies about Fey led me to start practicing and exploring what powers I myself could possess. I learned a few useful spells, minor things that really aren't much use outside the castle...and I learned the uninhabited isle I had picked for my home wasn't so uninhabited at all. But that is another story all of it's own....
