((  This is for Pip and I XD If anyone wants to join in, feel free to prod me about it and I'll add you here, too XD)) It was a beautiful day outside, with hardly a cloud in the sky. There were a few large trees scattered about, with one sitting idly atop a small hill. This is where the black and orange audio chose to hide, perched amongst the thick branches, concealed by the thick foliage. He enjoyed his place in the tree, able to see through the leaves for a few miles.

 Taking a small stroll amongst the few trees Ruth smiled as she thought back to earlier in the day. Her new family was utterly crazy but she loved it because that meant loads of others that she could put the blame on should she ever get into one of her mischevious moods. Coming out of her thoughts she noticed that she was at the bottom of a hill. "Well this looks like a good place to stop and rest." she said to herself as she took a couple steps up the hill before she sat down upon the soft grass.

Jasili noticed this dart frog-colored newcomer and a mischeifous grin appeared on his dark face. His ears went back and he crouched on the branch, his tail waving about quickly, oddly, in anticipation, hitting the branches and leaves. He jumped from the branch he'd been perching on, attempting to pounce on the probably not-so-unsuspecting victim.

Hearing leaves rustling in the tree above her Ruth shook her head thinking it was just some woodland creature so she was not expecting the greeting she recieved. She screamed as she fell over and started to roll down the hill after getting landed upon by something that all she could tell at the time had bright orange. Stopping herself from completly rolling down the hill Ruth tried to get a closer look at the thing that had attacked her from where she sat now.

After pouncing his very unsuspecting victim, Jasili certainly did not expect to roll down the hill. Even more he didn't expect to roll halfway down the hill, and when Ruth stopped herself halfway down, the black and orange audio flew off and rolled the rest of the way down the hill. He finally managed to stop himself at the bottom, landing on his head, obviously very dizzy. "Ow..." He rolled over and sat up, rubbing his head a bit, then shook his head to rid himself of the irritating dizzy feeling. He blinked a few times, then looked sheepishly at Ruth, figuring she'd be annoyed at him for pouncing her. "Hi there.."

'So it's just another audio.' Ruth thought as she watched him look at her. "Well some woodland creature you are." she said in which her voice had a very noticeable tone of annoyance in it. "Unless your some sort of flying squirrel that's lost its ability to fly anyways." She stood up to dust some of the dirt and bits of grass that had attached themselves to her in her partial roll down the hill.

He offered her a sheepish grin. "Sorry, I couldn't help myself, it's a bad habit." He got up and dusted himself off a bit, starting to walk back up the hill. "My name's Jasili, what's yours?"

Ruth couldn't help but smile at him. Sure she was annoyed at the fact she was nearly squished to death but at least he apologized for it. Besides she'll have fun coming up with her plan of revenge to get back at him. "Ruth is mine." A sparkle of mischeviousness could be seen in her eyes as she spoke.

He got up to where she was and offered her his paw/hand. "That's a really pretty name. Nice to meet you, Ruth." He said with a lop-sided grin, and being the goofball that he was, he completely missed the fact mischievous thoughts were dancing through her mind. "What are you doing over here today? Usually I'm the only one that ever comes over here."

"Eh my name isn't pretty." Ruth said as she took his paw for whatever reason she couldn't figure out. "I decided to go out for a walk seeing as it was such a nice day today." she explained as she glanced up at the cloudless sky.

He tilted his head to the side a bit, then shrugged. "Well, I think it is. And yes, it is very nice out today." He walked the rest of the way up the hill to his tree and nimbly clambered back up into the safety of its branches. One would think he was part squirrel or something. "So, what are you listening to?" He inquired, as he bobbed his head to the music in his own headphones.

She laughed as she watched him go back up the tree. "Perhaps I was right and you are a squirrel that has lost its ability to fly." Ruth giggled as she sat down against the base of the tree. "What am I listening too? Oh nothing really just a song called 'Best Friend' which is really quite good actually."

He wrinkled his nose in thought. "A squirrel, huh? Well, I don't look or feel like a squirrel." He gave himself a quick look. "Nope, I don't. Hmm.." He swung down on the branch, holding onto it with his legs, and watched her upside-down, hanging right beside her. "Well, I might be, but I don't think so. I've never heard that song before, I'll have to listen to it sometime."

Ruth couldn't help but laugh some more as Jasili hung upside-down. "Or perhaps your a bat? Just a bat without wings." she suggested as she stared at him trying to stifle her laughter which was turning into a task of its own.

He offered another lop-sided grin. "Maybe I am. If I'm all these odd things, what are you?" He swung up and grabbed the branch with his front paws, letting go with his legs, then dropped down to the grass beside her. "You can't say you're normal after calling me all these odd things," he said with a smile.
