The silvery moonlight danced on the calm glass-like dark water in the lake, surrounding by long swaying grass. The sound of chewing could be heard near the lake, along with random sounds of notcural creatures coming out of hiding. The night skies are filled with stars and the sounds of insects chirping which joined in the night sympothy (sp).
The wind whispers against the frost-looking mare that is standing near the lake looking down at her reflection. "I wonder...." She muses to herself as she leans in and is now nose to nose with her reflection. The cold water tickles her nose, she snorts as she dances backward giggilng to herself before she looks up at the star-filled skies with admiring eyes.

The moon light danced acrossed her icy pelt like it danced upon the ocean waves. Tranquil beauty wrapped in wrathful vengace. The silver light caressed her as she walked, she who was one with the element of ice and cold, she who was as cold and ever changing as the sea.
Her hooves pressed against the water sending ripples out from her touch. She smiled softly and turned her head upwards to gaze at the sky. The dark cloack of night encrusted with a million glittering stars. Finally she lowered her head, with the melodic jingling of the many rings in her thick mane. It was then she finally acknowlaged the female a little down the shore from her. Her clear blue eyes washed over the other cool blue mare, but she said nothing, only stared and watched her intently.

The melodic jingling reaches to Frosta's ears and she could feel the intent eyes boring hole in her body. Frosta shifts her weight from one pair of hooves to other, returning her eyes toward the lake before they looks up at light blue mare. She tilts her head to side and smiles lightly. "Hiyas!! I am Frosta.." She says in friendly voice while she dips her tail in the lake and sways it back and forth.

Shiva blinked once at the happy nature of the mare before her. Her expression stayed the same as it was. She dipped her head, her movements followed by the same meldoci jingling as before. "Im Shiva." she said, her voice as smooth and icy as a wind swept plain after a fresh snow. Lifting her head she resumed to examine the mare before her, trying to sort her into a catagory in her mind.

Confusion flickers through Frosta's icy blue eyes but the smile remains on her muzzle. "Shiva?? Its very beautiful name" She says as she dips her hoof in the water and sighs softly in content. "I just love cold weather and snow.. don't you? But of course!! you look like a mare who love the mountains" She bobs her head as she slowly approaching Shiva. "Where are you from?" She inquires in curious voice

The icy mare blinked once and slowly a smirk crossed his black face. This mare was very inquisitive. "Thank you. Its nice to meet you frosta." she said at length, as if breaking from a trace. She hadnt had much contact with others and as a result, she often found herself observing them at length and forgetting to speak. "I am from the north, were there is always ice and snow."

Excitement rises in her chest as she hears that the mare in front of her is from the north just like her! Frosta manages to contains her excitement as she beams widely at the mare. "So am I.." She flicks her tail out of the water, sending the sparkling water drops flying all over the place. "May I ask.. where did you get that kind of hair? It is.. different and pretty"

Shiva blinked and raised her eyebrows, this mare was also from her home land of ice and snow? She did carry that sort of chill around her that one was expect. Silently she wondered why she hadnt speculated as much...perhaps she just hadnt observed long enough. She shook her head and offered a smirk. "I dont know... Ive always had It I guess. " she didnt remember how her hair came to be as it was now.. it was a long and distant memory which suddenly made shiva feel very old.

Frosta admires Shiva's locks and rings in them before she shakes herself out of the "trance" Shiva managed to put her in by just having that kind of hair. "Its very pretty... I like the jingles your hair makes.. it reminds me of water running over the stones or birds singing.. weird uh?" She crinkles her muzzle up as she smiles. Frosta looks up at the skies as she smiles. "I have always wonder what is those white spots in the skies.. some call them stars.. some call them angel's eyes.."

Shiva smiled lightly at the comments from the deep blue mare at her side. "Thank you." she said before her gaze as well shifted to the sky. At frosta's comment she furrowed her brow, realizing that she'd never really questioned what they where. "Ive just always heard them called stars..." what were they? She now wondered, where they small moons like the large one that sent its silver rays washing over them. Or where they something else entirely. Why did one only see them when the blanket of night fell then?

Frosta dances around, causing the moonlight to gimmer off her dark blue coat and her silverish white mane and tail. "Mmmm... I think its a human goddess with this long flowy thing they wear around their body that is dark with white speckles in the skies. I think the silver orb in the night skies are the eye of that goddess.." She says in content voice as she smiles when she looks at Shiva with a glimmer of something inside her eyes.

Shiva looked at the sky once more and tilted her head. That could be, the wonderous goddess with a cloak of night. Perhaps thats why it was refferd to as such. She smiled softly at the thought, it certainly seemed a lovely thought. After a moment she sighed, her tail flicking against the mirror like surface of the water. "Perhaps..." was all she said, although her voice bore with it an almost dream like tone.

Frosta allows her tail to float on top of the lake water. "Sometimes I wonder what she look like.. and when will she make her appearance." She muses as the expression of thoughtfulness settled on her face, she looks down at her floating tail. "You are quiet one, Shiva.." She mumurs softly before she slowly drags her tail back and forth very slowly. "I wonder....what is our positions in this huge scheme?"

Shiva's bright blue eyes looked at the black iny night sky, it seemed to go on forever and ever. Her mind danced with questions like a child, how many stars dotted the sky, was this goddess real? Certainly there where many things in nature left uncounted for. Why did it rain forinstance...and why was it always cold around her. Maybe the cold favored her because she was a child of the north. Did the cold also favor Frosta then? She dropped her gaze and nodded, the rings in her hair chiming softly. "Yes I am.. I dont speak often. " She paused for awhile and finally at length she said. "Are you always cold? Do the northern winds seem to swirl around you even here in this place of green grass and trees?"

Frosta blinks owlishly at Shiva's question because she was suprised that she was asked this question by other icy mare. " No, I don't feel cold. I think I was born out of the snow, ice and the coldness." She mumurs lightly before she noticed that whenever her tail touch the water, theres frost appearing around her tail. "Yes.. the northern winds always swirl around me whereever I go, its very pleasurable to have wind that will follow me everywhere.. protecting me or ensuring that I am comfortable"
