A big pine tree. Dark green, tall, and just sitting there. There was nothing unusual about this tree. In fact, this isn't even about the tree. No, it's about what is under the tree. Take a close look. That's right. The blue mare. Turquoise really, and with wings. Wait a minute, also with a horn. Strange.

Jeevita shined even in the shadows. Though not as blinding. More like a sea that's been touched bye the moonlight. From a far she just looks like a big blue blob, but up close you could actually tell she's napping. Why would she be napping on a nice day like this? Boredom, of coures.

She was actually just humming to herself, rather then sleeping. More like a meditation. She opend her eyes from a flock of birds above her. They thought it'd be funny to drop seeds on her. "Cut it out" She snaped at them They just flew by and chirped excitively. They really did irritate her, whiche was quite hard to do.

It really was a surprisingly nice day. Not too hot, with a cool breeze drifting under the trees. And no flies. How he hated flies. His garnet coat twitched in memory of the little bites those pesky gnats alwasy gave him. And they never seemed to bother anyone else when he was around...Or maybe that was just him.

Snorting softly, he wandered aimlessly through the wood, ears perked to listen to the chittering of the animals in the surroundings. He didn't notice the mare until he was pratically next to her. And even then he didn't really register she was there until she suddenly snapped at something. "What'd I do?" He asked automatically, sidestepping away from her quickly with a flash of glitter covered hooves, ears half flattened.

Pausing a few paces safely away from her, Rajiv eyed the other closer, though carefully. "We've met before, haven't we." He observed almost to himself, tilting his head slightly in a curious movement. The stallion's memory sometimes wasn't the best of things. Certaintly not with soquili that he'd only met once. But the other mare was so unique looking that he couldn't help but remember her....If only vaguely.

{{I know they've met before. *shrug* Dunno if it's alright to include that. *shifty eyes*}}

Jeevita just about jumped up when she heard someone else. She looked at the purple gem stallion and snorted out of embarrassment. She then glared up at the pesky birds above. "I wasn't talking to you. These stupid birds have been bugging me all day. " she was really irritated. But she seemed to have pulled out of it as she smiled up at him.

She did remember him. He was a very vibrant shade of purple. She noded of him. "Yes, I remember. Though, I don't think we exchanged names." She added. Gracefully, she stood up and bowed towards him. Giving enough space so her horn wouldn't hit him or poke him. It really was quite an annoyance.

"I'm Jeevita." She said sweetly, almost mystic like. The wind caring her voice threw the air, making it linger just a bit longer. " I do apologize about my snappy-ness, if it offened you." She bowed again. She was as polite as she could to anyone. She had alway's thought of herself lower then everyone else. No matter what other's said to try to convince her she wasn't.

"Oh. Well, sounded like you were at that moment. Beggin' your pardon." He replied casually, glancing upwards at the mention of birds dropping things on her. That made him dance a bit in place, ready to move them somewhere safer if he needed to. They certaintly didn't need to have to dodge objects while they talked. Honestly; What reason would a flock of birds have to bother such a sweet tempered mare such as the one infront of him, aside from just wanting to be annoyances. "I almost want to say that they're bugging you because they admire you somehow...But dropping things on you certaintly doesn't seem like a very good way to express their admiration." Rajiv mused before blinking and shaking his head slightly, realizing he was rambling just a bit. He did that alot now a days...Probably because of his silly two legger that he had to deal with.

Watching her, he bowed back reflexively, head dipping before he looked back at her. "I'm Rajiv. It's a pleasure to meet you." Came his amused answer. Amused because really, she was the only soquili that he had...formally met. He'd seen a few others at a distance, maybe exchanged a few words. But never had full out conversations with anyone else. He really needed to get around more to meet others.

Pawing at the ground, he flicked his tail to get rid of a pesky fly before tilting his head as she apologized. "There's no need to apologize. Everyone has their moments when they act out of impulse. Even if that impulse is to snap out to rid yourself of irritation....I wouldn't dream of actually blaming you for your irritation at a flock of annoying birds. It just happens." He explained with a gentle smile, shrugging a bit and watching as she bowed again. It made him feel awkward and he didn't know how to ask her to stop without seeming rude. Maybe a change of subject would be best.

"So what are you doing out by yourself on such a beautiful day?" He asked, mentally wincing at that rather obvious change of subject. Real smooth.

Jeevita stood up very easily. Her wings spread slightly to help her with balance as she gracefully came to her feet. She looked back up towards the birds that were now just staring at them and chittering between them. She shook her head and body to get off the extra stuff that had been thrown at her. "Birds are just silly anyways. I always seem to have a problem with them in this area. Perhaps I just interuped their peace."

She walked a bit closer to him, passing him to leave the shade of the trees. Walking out into the sun showed her true color. The light glimmered on her turquoise coat. Her eyes shined brightly as she looked up at the blue sky. Horn glittering brightly making it hard to look at her horn, parts of her hair, and parts of her wings. Jeevita looked back at him. "Nice meeting you again, Rajiv. I wasn't truely by myself, I did have the birds." She giggled. "I really don't have anyone to just hang around. I know a few others, but I'm sure they are all busy. Plus, not many like talking to me. Or that's what I sense from them."

She really wasn't sure why she sensed things, she could sense his discomfort every time she bowed. She decided that' she'd quit doing that around him. She didn't like making others feel uncomfortable. "Not all nice days are truely nice, though." She giggled again and gave a small smile at him.

Watching her as she stood, he backed up a step or wo to give the mare a bit of room, watching the silver tipped wings spread a bit. Rajiv glanced up a moment later, one ear flicking back in irritation as he finally really heard the irritating chittering comming from the birds, giving a snort. "Very silly and very annoying. They're probly just annoyed that you're under their tree." He chuckled, giving the perched flock one last look before glancing back to Jeevita.

He had to blink a little bit as she walked into the sun, glittering off her coat brightly. "Huh." He grunted to himself, shaking a lock of curled hair out of eyes before following her. His coat was not quite so bright over all, just shimmering softly as he moved. His hooves were the most noticible in his mind, glittering and glinting as he walked, looking as if he were kicking up stardust as he walked. Which he sometimes suspected that he actually did, shed glitter that was. "The birds wouldn't seem like company at all, even under the best of conditions...And it's a pleasure to meet you once again. Our conversation last time was so short." He said, voice teasing just a bit as he walked beside her now.

Glancing at her, he frowned a bit, snorting softly. "Not like to talk to you? Why not? I don't see a logical reason why anyone else would not like to talk with you. You're perfectly well mannered, kind and gentle. There must be something wrong with these others that you know." He said finally, stomping a foot slightly in protest. Honestly. Some soquili must have their heads on backwards, to not want to talk with a mare like Jeevita....He was rambling again.

Pawing the ground lightly as they continued to walk aimlessly through the grass, he glanced up into the sky, eyeing the few fluffy clouds that chased each other across the clear sky. "No. Not all days are like this...So you have to enjoy them when they do come along. Which means no sitting under a tree in the shade, napping. Right?" He asked, bumping his shoulder into her's gently, eyes dancing in amusement. Hopefully she'd catch the fact that he was teasing her again. He would hate to have her misunderstand and get upset or something at him.

She giggled as he walked into the sun. He was so purple. She liked that color, though it wouldn't go so well on her, she thought. Watching the birds once more before they both started to walk. "Well, I don't know why they wouldn't. It just seems a few try to avoid me." She wasn't sure if that's how Lonatos, or Cristallin Arrose felt. She smiled and continued to walk.

She looked at him as they were now walking side by side. She didn't feel too uncomfortable. He was very nice. "I'm sorry our converstation didn't last long. I really didn't mean to leave in a hurry" She seemed to leave pretty fastly. She always felt bad about that. "Perhaps being kind and gentle is what people don't like of me." She gave a small giggle as she looked down at the grass. It was moving back and forth with the wind. The green of the grass showed a little on her hooves as she took a step. Though, it was probably just her mind playing with her.

She laughed as he teased her. "Ok, I shouldn't have been under a tree trying to take a nap, but whats a girl to do when all alone?" He bumbed her a little making her move a little to the left. She bumped him back playfully. "At least there was a stallion like yourself to come and rescue me from boredom" She giggled again looking at him in the corner of her eye.

"Well. Anyone who tries to avoid you is just...just mean and....stuff." He finished, flattening an ear again. He'd almost said stupid. But he wasn't quite so sure who she was talking about and he'd rather not get on the bad side of some of the soquili that he'd seen the turquoise mare spend time around. Some of them looked...not nice.

"Eh. It's alright. I had to go anyway. So no hard feelings." He said with a grin, flicking his tail to rid his haunches of a pesky fly. "Don't worry so much about it. You should always be yourself no matter what you might think others don't like about you. Your personality is your own and no one should change that." He said firmly, stomping a foot and looking serious. Which almost looks comical on him, since Rajiv always looked so amused and carefree. Serious looks were not his forte...neither was seriousness in general. But he did manage to spout out wisdom at rare times. Like just a few moments ago. "I like you the way you are. It fits you." He added after a moment of thought, nodding his head slightly.

"No. You shouldn't have been under a tree sleeping. You should have been out running, or looking for something to do. Not wait for it to come to you." Rajiv stated, smirking. "Well, you could always just roll around in the grass like I've seen a couple other mares do....Not the most dignified of pastimes...But they seem to enjoy doing it...." He trailed off, eyeing her beautiful coat. "On second thought, I don't think grass marks or dust would suit you well at all." He laughed, tossing his head and side stepping slightly to cover his stumble as he was unexpectedly bumped back into. "Lucky me. I get to save both of us from boredom. Very lucky me." He joked, tilting his head to look at her before smirking and nipping her playfully. He danced a few paces away before she could retailate, grinning at her and waiting for a reaction.

She laughed at his flattery. Why did so many have to make remarks that were flattering? She knew it was best to be herself, one reason why she didn't take crap from others. She smiled and looked down at the ground.

Looking at him funny when he mentioned rolling in the grass. She had wings, it'd most likely hurt if she did. Then there was also her horn. What if it got stuck in the earth while she was rolling? There was so many possible reasons why she just wouldn't want to roll in it. Then he did make a point. She giggled at the fact that green or brown wouldn't go with her well. Which was quite true.

He nipped at her and troted a few before stopping and looking back at her. She looked shocked at first and then became a little playful. "Hey, now!" She started to trot towards him kicking her front legs a bit. She felt like a foal, but it didn't bother her at all. She smiled. Once reaching him, she went to push him a little with her sholder. She would have tried with her head, but her horn would get in the way, and she didn't want to hurt anyone.

He gave a laugh at her shocked look, prancing in place a bit. "Hey what?" He asked with a laugh, tossing his head and sidestepping away from the mare as she approached. Rajiv let her bump into him, smirking and nipping at a curl of her hair. A moment later, he kicked off the ground with his back legs and darted off, kicking up tufts of dirt as he ran. "Come on Jeevita!" He called back to her, wheeling onto his hind legs, giving a hop to keep his balance before running off again.

He felt like having fun. It was just an irrational feeling, the need to run and laugh and play like they were foals. After all, you couldn't be serious all the time. Where was the fun in that?

Rajiv stretched his neck as he ran, breathing the fresh air with his eyes half closed. His hooves pounded rythmically on the ground as he moved, muscles moving under the glittering hide. His curled mane and tail would no doubt get tangly from the wind whipping it around...But his two legger would hopefully be willing to comb out the wind tangled curls later on.

She laughed as she caught up to him. She didn't know weather to act like herself or like a kid. She didn't remember much of it, so this was a good time to act like one she guessed. He was more like a best friend then anything. Even though she hadn't known him long, it felt like she's known him forever.

She wasn't that fast, so she was a pace behind him. She smiled and closed her eyes for a moment. It was fun to get out and run. She didn't do it very often. Her mane blew up into the wind as she raced down almost right behind Rajiv. Her wings held tightly to her side so she wouldn't accidently start drifting up into the air. You could hear her breath hard as she ran.

He kept running, even when he felt more than saw Jeevita catch up with him. Laughing, he lept over a fallen tree, kicking it as he jumped it before turning in an arc. It was fun to just goof off and have fun with someone who he considered a good friend now.

From what he'd seen of the other soquili around here, many of them were pretty boring. Of course, he'd only seen them from a distance. But he'd never seen any of them just rolling around or racing each other for the fun of it. He should probly stick around longer before he judged...But this was his opinion based on what he'd seen.

Rajiv made sure not to go too fast, letting the mare keep up with him. But as much as he enjoyed the feeling of the wind rushing over his face and through his mane, his energy was flagging. Slowly, he slowed his pace, going from a run to a canter and then slower from there. Soon enough, he was walking, panting softly but still grinning like an idiot for the most part. He'd gotten Jeevita away from that dreary forest for the time being. Far away from the look of it as he glanced back the way they had come, eyeing the dark bulk of the forest there.

Jeevita tried to keep up with him as best she could. She saw him jump and jumped as high as she could to miss the fallen tree. Hitting her back hooves on the tree mad her landing a little sloppy. She laughed at herself. Speeding up just a bit. She didn't mind her slowness, though it did make it hard to have fun. It was the skies she was fast at.

She saw him start to slow down, so she did the same. She was about six feet behind him. She felt good. It was fun to get out once in a while. SHe laughed as she came to a stop. "A little playful today, are we?" She asked teasingly to him. He was quite a silly soquili. Which was a big change for her. She smiled sweetly at him. A good friend he would be come. She needed a friend. "Whats wrong?" She asked looking behind her seeing him look back. She looked back at him with a raised eyebrow.

Watching the mare leap the tree, he chuckled at her landing, tail flicking in his amusement. "You should work on that landing." He teased, prancing slightly in place with a wider grin. He'd have to make sure he didn't run too fast in the future. Granted he didn't run all that fast himself, but it was still the polite thing to do.

"I felt like running. And getting you away from that dreary forest." The garnet stallion laughed, nipping playfully at a curl of her hair before snorting. His gaze flicked back to the forest and he frowned just a bit, blinking at her question. "Oh nothing. Just realizing just how ominious that forest looks at a distance, even though it's not so bad when you're inside it." He explained, shrugging and tossing his head lightly to dislodge a few curls of hair that had fallen there.

Rajiv lived in that forest, but it really wasn't so bad at all. But one still needed to get away from time to time. The trees could be stifling at times.

She laughed nervously. She normally did good landings. But she wasn't flying really over the tree, and hitting her black hooves on it didn't help to well either. She looked at him with her head at a tilt. "Well, I don't think it's that bad. I can take care of myself, you know." Why had he always tried to get her away from the forest? Was it because of something he's hiding, or something else?

She shruged and thought it best not to go into the subject. "Well, not everything can look peaceful, you know." She giggled as she nipped back at his curls. She flicked her tail and walked a few steps then stopped. " You seem to have a thing agenst the forest, for one who lives there." It just came out. She was thinking about it, but didn't intend to say it. But once out, it was out so she just looked back at him with a weak smile.
