Against the furs where she slept the dark and salmon tinted princess lay, though she wasn't sleeping. Far from it, she was wide awake. For a start, it was too hot to sleep, even in here amongst the stone the heat had seeped making the chamber unbearably muggy. Her ears flickered unhappily as she lay there, the occasional fly attacking her ears.
It was hot and she wasn't happy about it. Standing she slid down the pile of furs, her deep dark purple eyes searching for one of her two slaves. She wnated to go to the pool and lay in the shallows but she wasn't about to venture out alone again. After all thats what slaves were there for right? To follow her around? Damn straight. Looking thoughtful she padded towards the dark entrance, humans had once pased this place, now it was inhabited by lions and a princess of a different kind.
Peering in to the darkened hall way her eyes adjusted to the muggy blackness "Moses? Rukiya?" she called simply, expecting which ever one was around to jump to her call. After all, thats what slaves were for.

Moses on the other hand was sleeping in the shade of a nearby tattered door way, snoring softly, almost like a weak purr as he slept for the first time in a while.
His mind constantly wandered on his new job and the little wretch he looked after now, but at least he got a new place to sleep away from the riff raff outside.
He hated living things, excrement of the world, nothing but worthless wastes of flesh and gray matter that only worked for their own gains, sinful gains with pleasures of the flesh and unrelenting gluttony.
However, as he was deep into his own sleepy thought, he could hear the nazily voice of the princess and woke suddenly.
Might aswell humour her and keep her quiet.
Besides, he owed it to Nyekundu to look after the little whelp.
The white male padded out from his corner and aproached the indigo eye'd female, looking over her.
"You called?"

Afritti smiled as Moses aproached her tail lashing just once her dark purple gaze falling on the pale male. "You know you're a much betetr slave than Rukiya" She stated quite simply her pink tongue lapping out over her pale lips .
Of course that was the best compliment she probably would ever give to Moses, her fathers young general "I want to go to the pool, take me" she stated, without a please or thankyou intended in there. "Now" she smirked, she still considered Moses a slave, even if her father had informed him of all that slanderous gabble about not being the heir! "I wish to take a paddle and you're coming with me" Another statement rather than a request.
She was full of herself, she had two slaves now and ehr favourite, though she wouldn't admit it, was here and he was going to take her to the water, what an excellent day this was turning out to be, despite the heat!

The white male listened to the demands of the little wench, claws drumming against the floor as he arched a brow at her.
Wow, a compliment, he'd have to remember that when she was older.
It'd be great if somehow when he was older, when she was ordering away, he could tell her something and whipe that smug look from her face.
That would be worth all this degradation.
He then rolled his eye's slightly before bowing his head to the small female, humouring her for now.
No doubt they'd fight later on in the day.
"As you wish, princess." He said, as politely as he could, however it was strained through his pearly white fangs before he gently moved toward's the entrance and awaited the female to join his side.

Yes moses was a very good slave. With a grin she padded after the youthful moses her tail high in the air her chin up, those dark purple orbs lookking down on the world. "You're very good at being a slave Moses, I'm glad I picked you" she stated simply her paws padding the ground. She would certainly be glad to get to the water to, if nothing else, put ehr hot paws in the icey clear wetness. Her paws were so hot, plus, she could use a really good bath!
She smiled to her self looking to Moses with a little smug grin. "you can catch me one of those fish things as well while we are there." she stated in a matetr of fact way "I'm hungry, that damn Rukiya is so lazy she's never around since father broke her leg" she rolled ehr eyes and humphed, it was a great inconveinence to her that her female slave kept going missing.

Moses wasn't too happy to be picked, eye's rolling as he looked away from the princess, keeping an eye out for any danger as they approached the large pool of pristine water.
The juvenille couldn't think of why he shouldn't let the vultures have his way with the little rat bag, but then, who knows, he might or my not get in trouble with Nyek.
And the pride always needed a few more females to carry a few cub's.
He turned to look at her, eye's half open in a very suave manner before nodding to her.
Yes, make your demand's while you can young 'princess', your day will come.
"Yes Afriti." He said in his usual, emotionless tone, looking over her once more before he padded into the water and looked for a fish.

Afritti did so enjoy being obayed, that sence of being in charge made ehr tingle all over. Her deep purple eyes glimmered in the darkness as she padded away out of the dark building and in to the light. She paused for a moment, allowing her eyes to adjust to the bright sun which shone upon them. The sun in the afternoon was always shockingly bright in the oasis. She longed for a sunshade almost.
For a second she contemplated this wondering if she could get moses to carry a palm leaf over her head. Shaking her head she decided against it. She knew moses did things for her begrudgingly, she didn't want to psh him to the point that he would leave, like that damn rukiya!
"Come moses, I really need that bath" she states padding off with her nose in the air her tail high over her back looking like a right little madam.

Moses was beggining to tire of the young cub's voice, standing leg deep in the water before his ears flattened against his skull and he silenced the annoying brat from his concious.
He remained deathly still, almost halting his breathing as he eye'd the water before he quickly lunged.
Head under the water before he took out a fish, clamped in his young jaws as it thrashed and flopped for dear life.
But, it only took another strong crunch of fish vertabrae to make the creature halt it's tiring struggle for life before the young male followed the cub.
The male watched her tail that stood high up in the air, only to roll his eyes and quickly move up to her side.

Afritti'dogo grinned broadly as the young male fetched her a fish. He was pretty good at that, praise? well perhaps "You're pretty good at doing that" she states simply settling down in the grass that surrounded te pool and looking up at the red eyed male. Moses was certainly handsome, though she felt silently a complete idiot to be following her father's orders. The male thatw as her father was nothing but a cad, a fool, or so she felt any way, he alwayswent on about things which made no sence. Of course, she didn't understand that ehr father wished to rule everything, the oasis was her everything after all.
"Moses, do you know where my father trains?" It was a sudden question, she had never tried to follow the big male to his training ground, though she had heard him speak of it to a few of his followers. Where was it? Maybe Moses knew, he was one of his fathers favourites. The mark on his shoulder dubbed him one of her fathers generals. He must know right?

The lion lay next to the female, beggining to strip the flesh from the fish's dead body, watching her with his deep, but emotionless eye's as he listened to the praise, with little to no reaction what so ever.
At the sudden question however, he blinked, a piece of flesh in his mouth that he gently put infront of her before he slowly shook his head, brows furrowed upward's.
"I do not, miss, he hasn't told me nor showed me his training grounds." He spoke sincerely, paws pushing against the sand slightly as he continued to strip tender fish flesh for the arrogaunt little madam.

Afritti raised a brow. "well.." The little pink madam pursed ehr lips her tongue peering out between her lips. "Thats just great. How am i suppsoed to gothere if you don't know wheer it is?" She raised a brow. Some general he was. Pouting a bit the little devil dug in to the food Moses had stripped for her, remaining silent and moody for a long time simply eating the food she was privided.
"Whem my father shopws you you have to take me theer okay" she states, though it was mroe of a plead than anything. She wanted to see where ehr father went when he went 'training' She had seen him take a fewlions out of their chambers away to these training grounds, she was convinced that Moses must have been there. He must be waiting. She knew her father thought highly of moses, only those he thought highly of slept int he royal chambers, well, except Rukiya, but she just couldn't figure out why the girl didn't sleep out in the slave pit. She was a bloody useless slave.

The male arched a brow at the plead.
Ahh yes, now desperation was something he liked, when he was begged for something.
The faintest flicker of a smirk, appeared and vanished in the blink of an eye as he stripped another piece of flesh from the bone and placed it before her.
His deep red orb's watching her closely like some sadistic elder brother before he gave a thought to her word's.
"...very well, princess." He spoke softly, in his same, monotone voice as he stood there, the same, deep thinking, almost lethargic look on his face.
However his semi-calm feature's soon disapeared, ear's perking up as he dropped the fish fully.
Claw's appearing from his paw's as he looked around, eye's narrowed as he scanned the horizon for whatever had 'spooked' the young male.
He stayed completely still for a few long, heart stopping moment's before a flurry of feather's came at him which he quickly dodged, although not without a scrape from the ugly bird's talon's.
A vulture had spotted the two young lion's from above and thought he could pick them off, however as the annoying creature swooped forward to the white male, there was a loud yowl and a rather pained screech as the two seemed to tumble into each other.
The two stayed still for a few moment's before Moses stood up from the scrum, the wrinkly neck of the bird inbetween his jaws as his face was slightly blood splattered.
Making look like some sort of wounded angel, or beautiful demon as he looked over to Afriti and then moved over to her side once more as if nothing had happened.

Afritti smirked, she liked it when he obayed her. She was about to praise him for his loyalty to her when feathers blurred her vishion.
The dark quills took up her whole world for a moment and she was lost beneath a flurry of talons, a dark beak and beady eyes. he could not take her gaze off the creature, it was as if the world had come to a stop her life resting at this moment for the rest of eternity. then, the angel came
Her dark violet gaze shifted with the slender figure and she sat agape, her tongue almost lolling as she observed Moses, a flash of blood sending the breath of heated iron to her nose. There were feathers every where when Moses emerged and the dark princess watched her angel, her savior approach . Licking her pale lips she looks him overapproaching him with a slight touch of reverence in those dark usually stubborn eyes "You saved my life.." she paused, she knew what her life was, if she died, her father would have one less posession, she was princess only in name, she was not the heir. She opened her mouth to say something else but closed it again standing up on her hind legs she cleaned away the blood from his cheek a silent gesture of thanks.
She pulled away, her mouth tightly clamped as she settled back to her fishy meal. She truthfully didn't know what to say. Was Moses ehr guardien angel? Or had he done it for his own life? His own skin> At such a young age to question the alternetives, tot he whys flittered through her brain, there fro a breif moment of clarity then gone like the wind. "Thankyou" she muttered after a long drawn out silence. She knew the word though she had hardly ever used it.

The handsome young male allowed the cub to lick his blood splattered face clean, watching over her closely as if he'd leap to his feet once more incase another one showed up.
But that one had been a one off, but quite the rush, he liked bringing pain to anything...and he meant ANYTHING.
He then bowed his head to the female, in some sort of dark respect as his voice wisped softly over her ear's.
Beautiful as any angel's, despite the act he'd put on a moment ago.
"No thank's are neccesary Afriti, I was doing my job, I was protecting the princess." He said simply.
Moses spoke nothing but truth, sometime's bitter sweet white lies, but never true lies.
This was nothing but the truth.

Afritti smiled liking her lips. The truth it was then. He was simply protecting her. He wasn't her friend or anything he was doing a job. That was fine at least he did it well. "You do your job well you deserve thanks" she states, returning to her princessly air, flickering her small fringe from her eye she admired the young male for a long moment, licking her lips andreturning to the last of her meal.
"I will inform my father of your deed, perhaps he will take you to the training grounds then you can show me wheer they are" She smirks, she was making it look like an alterior motive.
Afritti was just a cub after all and despite what the young angelic like male said, she felt flattered that he would save her, even if it was his job. She was bowled over by his strength and his willingness to serve her father and ultimately her. She couldn't help but admire, after all,cubs were easily impressed.
