It was fairly early in the afternoon, and the woods were rather peaceful - the perfect escape from the bustle of the day normally found in the city. Cyrus had made an escape into the woods earlier in the day for just that reason. He really wasn't too far from the forest's edge - just far enough to be out of sight, really. But that had been all he'd wanted anyway. Now, he leaned back against a sizeable tree, alternating between mashing buttons on the latest fighting game he'd obtained and taking a sip from what looked to be a wine bottle.

Just where he had gotten it - or the other bottles squirreled away in his backpack - was anyone's guess. Cyrus had just thought it seemed like a good idea at the time. He'd heard somewhere that alchohol was a good way to forget things for a while, and, at the moment, forgetting sounded like a good idea.

[:B; I'd wait for everyone, but it'd be odd to wait until five people were going ":O Someone there?" all at once, I think. XD; So I'll just continue for now. Everyone still gets to be involved anyway, so~ Dun eat me? XD;;]

Cyrus looked up, eyes narrowing just slightly as he caught the sound of Rhiannon's voice. That voice sounded rather familiar... He flattened one ear and straightened up a bit, scanning the surrounding area curiously. "Who's that?"

Cyrus jumped a bit and came quite close to throwing the bottle behind his backpack - it was a wonder the liquid didn't all slosh out - in a feeble attempt to hide it. He relaxed when he saw it was only Rhiannon though and offered her a lopsided smile. "What're you doing out here?"

His smile tensed when she sniffed at the air, and he shook his head rapidly. "What? No! What..?" He nudged the bottle a bit further out of view, looking very much like a cat caught with it's paw in the fish bowl. "I'm just out here to..to relax," he said. It was true enough, after all, and there was nothing wrong with relaxing, was there?

He eyed her warily. She wasn't going to go rat on him, was she?

He relaxed quite visibly and donned a sheepish look. "If you want." At least this meant she wasn't going to go running to his mother or something, he supposed. He handed her the bottle and leaned against the tree again.

"Come back, squirrely!"

Angie tripped on a root during the chase, and barely had time to put her hands out in front of her to stop herself from falling face-first. She looked up, but the squirrel was gone.

"Oh, squirrely," she said mournfully, "I shall miss you." She stood up and checked her hands to make sure she didn't cut them, and turned to move away, but stopped when she heard voices not far away.

".. hello?"

"Cy?" She said suspiciously, taking a step towards the voice. "Cy, is that you?" Angie started to develop a slight whine in her voice. "It's my queen-of-the-forest day," she explained, sulking. "What're you doing here..?

Bronwen had been wandering more or less aimlessly, looking for interesting rocks and lost bits of jewelry, anything that caught her eye. She had a lot on her mind and the vague, pointless hobby calmed her and let her not think about things for a while. Life was dumb. She hugged the bag over her shoulder tightly.

She paused as she heard the sound of voices. They sounded familiar, so without much hesitation, she headed in that direction.

"... er. What's this?"
