Floor 2.

Guardian/Adult's Room.
The guardian's room is nice, and relaxing. Soft colors, an entertainment center that's the best in the entire shop. Relaxing, and good for Guardians with young children.

Kitchen
The kitchen is small, but it works. Gas range, toaster, coffee maker, dishwasher and trash compacter, a little island bench, and overhead cuboards for storage. The fridge and freezer are in seperate places.

Dining Area
Also small, but it's perfect for meetings. There's a notice board near it, and a few compact storage areas hidden cleverly around.

Living Room
This room has a nice large TV, storage drawers under the couch, and is a competely 'child safe' zone. That means movies for all, toys around the place, books for all ages.

Bathroom.
Has a shower, and a toilet, and a sink. Not too large, but it does what it was intended to do.

Xannyia came rushing up the steps, dragging the poor little girl behind her. She had come up here to see if Neith was up here and show her that she had gotten one of the children from the mirror. "Hello? Is anyone up here?" She called out as she finally reached the top of the steps and looked around the room.

Sarria looked tired from nearly having to run all the way here to keep up with the woman. She was trying to catch her breath as she nearly crashed into Xannyia when she stopped suddenly. "Don't...go...so...fa.." Once again she was cut off when Xannyia had called out to see if anyone was there.

Neith and Aurora were sitting in the old living room on a new rug, watching a new TV that was set up. The living room was the only room that had been fully cleaned so far, the floorboards not quite shining, but free of dust, the windows could be seen through now and new curtians fluttered around in the breeze.

They didn't hear the voices at first, the movie drowning out most. But when someone called from the top of the stairs, Aurora twitched and jumped up to run towards the stairs to greet whoever it was.

She skidded to a stop right in front of Xannyia and a little girl, one Aurora hadn't seen before, and peered upwards at Xannyia. "Neith is in the living room, follow me!"

Then Aurora led them back to the living room again. Neith had stood during that time, and greeted Xannyia with a hug. "Hello!"

Xannyia smiled at Aurora and nodded, "Thank you Aurora!" She went to grab Sarria's hand again and follow the other young girl. After being hugged Xannyia smiled at Neith and pointed to the little girl who was once again trying to catch her breath, "Look!" She exclaimed excitedly, "It turns out I ended up with a little child after all!"

Sarria looked up at the other woman almost a bit shyly at first until she smiled at Neith. She remained halfway hidden behind Xannyia as she examined both Aurora and Neith. "Stop...going so fast..." She complained to Xannyia; taking this oppurtunity to finally finish saying what she had been trying to tell the woman the entire morning while being rushed over here.

"I'm so happy for you!" Neith exclaimed, as she kneeled and smiled gently at Sarria. "And what's your name? I don't think your name is 'a little child'..."

Aurora wasn't quite so reserved, she took Sarria's hand and drew the other out without a thought. "I'm Aurora, do you like to watch movies? Or play games? I like games, or maybe do you like to play hide and seek, or swim? I love to swim, and I like the ocean!"

Xannyia blinked down at Sarria and apologized for going too fast for the little one. Now feeling a bit bad that she hadn't been paying attention to the poor girl and instead dragging her over here to show Neith.

Sarria had been smiling at Neith until her hand was taken by Aurora. Then the look on her face looked somewhat scared or startled as Aurora spoke. That look eventually went away as Aurora continued on. When the other girl was done she turned to both Neith and Aurora to answer their questions. "My name Sarria." She grinned, "I do not know of many games, also I do not know if I like swimming or not. I do not think I have ever been to the ocean." She seemed to use the words 'do not' quite a bit, and by the way she was standing it was obvious she was trying to act 'big' and 'grown up' like Aurora.

Neith shook Sarria's hand. "It's nice to meet you, Sarria."

Then she stood up, and patted Xannyia's shoulder. "Hungry? You can come help me get some food, let the girls meet on their own? Besides, I'm in the mood for pancakes. Big, dripping with honey, pancakes."

"I think we got to take you swimming then." Aurora decided, and added, "But you can watch movie with me for now? It is too cold for swimming, we'll freeze before we get in up to our waists."

She flopped down on the rug, and patted the space next to her for the younger girl. "The movie is good, it is sleeping beauty! I hope I get a prince like that." Aurora let out a long girly sigh, cuddling a Ken doll as she watched the movie. If someone looked closely, Barbie had been hidden behind the couch...

"Nah, no thanks. I stopped by a fast food restaurant so I wouldn't get here extremely early in the morning. Not to mention Sarria seemed to be a bit hungry." The other woman answered. "However, I could use something to drink if that's all right."

Sarria smiled at Neith and began backing away to 'hide' behind Xannyi again until Aurora started talking again. That had caused her to come back out of her 'hiding' spot and go sit down next to the other girl. "Okay." She answered to both questions about swimming and watching the movie. The little girl turned to look at the TV screen happily. She wasn't exactly sure what a prince was, but since Aurora made it sound like a good thing she nodded, "Maybe you will!"

Bri had made it farther into the shop this trip around, taking the steps up to the second floor one by one as she watched her daughter bound up the steps in leaps and bounds.

"I hope Yeste' is here.. or maybe Kami.." Kerryn said as she finally took her first step onto the surface of the second level floor. Eyes darting around, her smile fell. It was just her and Bri there.

Following her daughter up the stairs, Bri's eyes swept the room, coming to the same conclusion Kerryn did. "Maybe someone will show up soon for you to play with?" She hoped so, Kerryn spent too much time alone.

Indeed there was someone moving towards the high building. "I don't want to go !" The young boy shouted angrily and tried to push his mother away, who almost dragged him trough the doors.

"It's necessary, Ronin. Not everyone is bad." She sighed and as she didn't pay attention for one single minute the boy had disappeared quickly. His wooden shoes made clagging sounds on the strange stairs and his blue eyes stared at the people, who had already been on the 2nd floot, in shock.

"What are you...doing here ?!"

Bri looked over her shoulder at the boy, this was one for Kerryn to handle. Maybe she could make friends with him? Although, his current disposition might make it a little hard for her. Wandering off towards the kitchen to investigate the other rooms, Bri left Kerryn to talk to the boy.

Turning on her heel Kerryn turned to face Ronin. A sour look taking hold of her features when she noticed that it wasn't one of the people she was waiting for, although her head already knew that from the difference in the voice.

"I could ask you the same thing." She told him tartly, crossing her hands over her leather apron. "What're you doing here?" It was a bit of an absurb question considering she didn't exactly know where 'here' was other than up the stairs.

"I am..." The boy heard the sounds on the stairs and his mother's voice. Only one chance for surviving was given...hiding ! "Please don't say anything." He pleaded, which was unusual for him and dashed off to bury himself in the shadows behind the couch.

"Ronin ? Where are you ?" Lena shouted and was a little bit astonished as she noticed the unknown girl in front of her. "Sorry to disturb you." She smiled. "Have you seen a young boy, as tall as you ? In red Japanese clothing..."

Kerryn blinked at the flurry of events, looking over her shoulder as the boy ran off to hide behind the couch and then snapped her head quickly forward as Lena came up the stairs.

'Ronin.' She thought to herself, 'That's his name.'

"No." Kerryn told the woman with a smile, wanting to tell her, 'Yes, and he's hiding behind the couch.' but he asked her not to. Trying to adopt the illusion of thought, Kerryn looked around, "Are you sure he came up here..? I've been standing here the whole time, and no one was up here when I showed up." That part, at least, was true.
PostPosted: Fri Feb 11, 2005 1:13 pm

Ronin closed his eyes and stroked his dagger slowly, while he listened to the words. O please don't say anything...

She didn't. This seemed to be a pretty new feeling and he had almost left his hiding place to see a prove for what he had just heard. Perhaps she was...no, people are stupid.

Lena instead shrugged. "Thanks, I'm sure he went here. Probably somewhere..." She turned to one of the other rooms trying to find her naughty son.

Kerryn watched her go, making sure she was well out of sight before turning to face the couch with a raised eyebrow.

"Care to explain why I just lied for you?" She couldn't help but sound a little disgusted in herself, she just lied for a boy, and one that didn't even seem worth the effort. Walking over she flopped herself down on the couch, just incase he wanted to stay hidden, they could still talk like that.
