This is mainly geared to the Crew members and Captins. But not enough people seem to be reading the front page and awnsering the question to awner on the join request when they join. Thus I think we should add this to the top of the front page. Quote: Please read the entire front page before applying Or we could use the more... persuasive option. Do you honestly think that will work?
All you need is around size 15-18 font, of a slightly different (or just plain black) colour. Really. Because those who don't read won't read, and those who do will more than likely listen to a simple and polite request. (Though I realize it's frustrating, being a Captain of 2, Vice of 1, and Crew of another, myself.)

I think we should go the Dan Shive route and threaten them with something along the lines of Death By Hungery Owl if they don't read the first page. Mind you, in order to refrain from annoying Dan, we would do well to threaten them with glass catheters and louisville sluggers.

Well I stated my oppinion last night to you but I'll state it again. If they are too stupid to read the front page then it's their loss. I think we should decline if they dont read, accept if they do. If they pm us asking why they were declined then we can give them a break. But if these people are going to be decent enough to at least read the first page on their own, they dont need to be posting in here.

I've been though this with Baka-Sama before. Its true its quite annoying when people don't read and responde to the correct thing on the front page (seeing as I deal with the majority of join requests most the time).
Really the only thing to do is change the font, but I wouldn't change it to the red option you have. We're here for support and fun, I don't want our public apperance to change just because we're a little upset about a few people that get confused or don't read the entire front page.

I know I may not necessarily have the correct rank to be here...but I think that if people aren't reading certain sections highlight/enlarge the said sections so they are IMPOSSIBLE to miss! Don't scare people away or give them the wrong idea with messages that hint at intimidation/general meaniness...I love this guild and I want others to love it too! sweatdrop
