It was fine yesterday before I left for work, but when I got home it just kept bringing up that "cannot find page". I know my internet connection still works because I can use Explorer. I've tried uninstalling an re-installing, but that doesn't help either.
Help please. T__T

Firefox is running perfect as usual for me.
I have no idea why it would'nt be for you. That's kind of odd.

Works fine for me. Do you have a firewall that's blocking Firefox specifically?

My Firefox works perfectly, and its the only browser I use. Try completely uninstalling it. To do so just uninstall it as usual, and remove the folder from the C biggrin ocuments and Settings[your name]Application DataMozilla set in your computer. Reinstall it. If it doesn't work right after that, then I have no more advice.

Are there perhaps any critical updates that you need to update?

Bururian Are there perhaps any critical updates that you need to update? Nope, infact it happened a couple hours after I updated it. And you know what? I come home from work, and I find it works fine now. neutral I don't understand what happened.

You might be better off getting used to using IE so that you won't run into problems with an unreliable browser.

The Eternal Aeris Esper You might be better off getting used to using IE so that you won't run into problems with an unreliable browser. But IE isn't reliable. I think her point is since IE is made from the same makers of Windows and you're using both, they're supposed to be more intergrated.

But it's gone through three more versions since then, offering major improvements to the integrity of the browser. If you haven't used IE in a year, it might be a good idea to give it a test run to see if the aspects you disliked have been addressed. Consider trying the beta of IE7, too. Being a beta, reliability is certainly off the table... but some of the other features might be worth the lookthrough. It's supposed to have the oh-so-infamous tabbed browsing.
