Here is a little thread for all those you you who just enjoy dressing up avis like your favorate characters. Instructions for those of you new to the art below. Here is the nearest version of Erik, Christine and Raoul that I could make using the GAC. If you want to (or have already) make any of the charas on an avi, using GAC or a paint program, put them here!!!!  (christine is hard using the GAC--there is no stupid white dresses!!!! stressed scream >O) Gaia Avatar Creator Link Right, GAC is temporarily offline Who knows, maybe she's updating it! mrgreen Yes, I'm an optimist. GAvSim Link Personally I don't like this as much as the GAC--you need to know EXACTLY what you want to do before you do it, but hey, it's better then nothing. Anyway, here is the link...  Anyway, if you still want to do an avi then here is what you do.... Custom Avis! (if gaia doesn't have the styles you want) Go to the "Customize me!" option on your profile and unequip everything from your avi. Right click, copy and then paste into a paint program (if you want to get rid of the background you need to save and then get the pic off the forum, if you just want to erase it then whatever) After you have done this, start customizing! You can change hair, costume, coloring... Try not to make it too drastic--all that means is more work--but you can do it however you choose. MAKE SURE TO TRIM THE EXCESS WHITE AROUND YOUR AVI BEFORE SAVING IT!!!!! Most hosts will resize a pic if it gets too large! Finally, you will need to upload your finished avi onto the web if you want to show it off. If you have a photobucket account or somesuchathing, then great, but if you don't then here is a useful little site I've found.... www.tinypic.comGo have fun!

I once tried to make a version of Christine (new movie version with brown hair...because I have brown hair. ^^; ) on GAC. It didn't work very well. sad

It didn't work very well. sad Actually, she has kinda... aubern hair, but I agree about her being impossible to do well without actually going in by hand... >O!!!! I wish that gaia had curls!!!

I'm still saving up for f-wings (the ones I'm wearing are a loan) Anyway, as I said, I can't afford to buy new and I don't think that I could piece anything together with what I have now... crying

Use the GAC or alter your own avi manually by paint. Link to GAC and instructions for manual in a sec, I need to get off for a few hours...
