Moon blinked at Wef. "Are you kidding?! Just... set them free? We can't give up all our months of hard work! I mean, look at Zoe!" At this, the brown teen's head turned toward the sound of her caregiver's voice, long ears pricked, eyes shining with the light of love. "Look at her, she's... she's... she's transformed. All the wolves that have suffered dark pasts, they need us. Besides, we can't just leave them to fend for themselves. We've all been together for so long. There's connection there..." She paused. "And if we all high-tail it out of here, then... I think the sudden environment change would do a world of harm to the wolves." She looked over at Ray, whose unusually small yet very finely attuned ears were trained on the door. They could all feel the ominous arrival of the storm.

Moon shook her head. "I vote we stay. I mean, it's just a storm. Worst case scenario, it gets a little flooded. Or it turns into a hurricane. Come on, we have a basement, don't we? I think it'd be better to risk a little equipment that to undo everything we've worked so hard on for the last few months."

Moon nodded. Their best shot, probably, was to present their arguements in hopes of rallying as many of the others gathered as possible. She stared almost enviously as Mae patted Kira and the wolf responded calmly. Despite the positive changes in Zoe, she was still jumpy and hated physical contact. Almost as if reading her mind, Zoe scooted away from her.

Moon watched as baby Ray padded over to Eamaza, shoving his nose everywhere and inspecting the litter of three she had recently given birth to. She smiled as he nodded slightly, perhaps because he'd just tripped over one of the newborns' tail, or maybe he'd meant it, but to Moon, it rather seemed like a tiny subtle little nod of approval.

It was a big happy family here. And Moon pointed it out promptly.

"See how they're all responding to each other right now? It's the calm environment and the fact that they're all linking each other as friends, not foe. We can't move them. It may be too traumatic for the younger ones. I'm not at all willing - no, I'm not going to - risk moving them just cause they say there's gonna be a big storm. I've had my share of storms. A lot of times, the storms blow right past. Maybe that'll happen."

Mia nodded."I have to agree with the others, if we move them it might not be good for the pups, but we can't set them free either.Not just because of all the work put into them, but some of the younger ones couldn't possibly fend for themselves out there, and some of the older ones might not even be ready to be out in a storm."She set a hand on Rath's head, who had set himself beside her.she coulsn't even imagine leaving him out to face a storm by himself.

"Well, no matter what our choices, I won't allow this species to die off, nor will I allow us to leave anyone behind. If anyone sees that their adult is off in the forest, I'll send a party of maybe a few people with Uyik and Moorin. They know a good majority of the area. And when that happens, there will be no doubt in my mind that there will be some wolves that are left behind by their families; just due to all the hectic running around. Any of those that we can rescue, we will."

Wef listened to the clicking of nails against the tiled floor. Uyik had heard her name mentioned and came forth to stay by her caretaker.

"Personally, I say we find some quick transport even possibly into the mountainous area-- somewhat like Jest suggested. Really, it wouldn't hurt. Most of the rains won't reach into that region, and if I remember rightly, an abandoned building still stands nearby. That could provide shelter for us, and we also have temporary fencing that we can put up if we get leery of leaving the younger ones alone during that time."

"But it's not..." Moon stopped. She shrugged and sat down on the floor as Ray padded over. Ray was always smiling and wagging his tail. He was more like a little puppydog than a wolf. She fussed with his ears a bit. It seemed as if everyone had given into the idea of transporting to higher regions, where a flood could not reach them. She didn't like the idea of a sudden switch of environement. Despite all the positive changes in her, Zoe was still a nervous wolf, to say the least. Moon didn't know what a sudden change around her would trigger. Maybe she'd go crazy. Maybe she'd shrink back into her shell and never come back out. Either way, she didn't like the sound of it.

"If no one else needs to speak then, I shall. I'll make the calls today for the resources we'll need, and some extra things just in case. Due to the fact that these animals have never taken a ride in vehicles, we will administer a quick drug to every wolf we have here, just to ensure that no movement will injure them during the move, and that they will have less stress."

Wef stood still and silent for a moment before dissappearing to the main office. Uyik promptly followed.
