Now I know how I would see it happening, but how do you guys see Shikamaru and Ino's dates?
Another question, how do you think Shikamaru would ask Ino out on their first date?
I could see them sitting on a hill and watching the clouds or stars and just enjoying each other. I believe Shikamaru would really enjoy that date. mrgreen

So i can see them going to the beach or window shopping. :3 He would once they started. Yeah she'd nag about it at first and probably drag him out on the first date. But once they started dating I think he might just tell her to meet him somewhere. It'd be 'too troublesome' to ask. The beach and window shopping is always fun.

I picture Shikamaru slyly asking her out like giving them places to go that would take awhile and where a couples would be hanging out. Also, I see Ino being her usual self and Shikamaru complaining but having fun then they would stop and lay in the grass and Shikamaru would see a calmer Ino and they would watch the cloud with eachother. mrgreen

Sapphire720 I picture Shikamaru slyly asking her out like giving them places to go that would take awhile and where a couples would be hanging out. I imagine, at the beginning, Chouji would be there. xD; They'd just eaten food at the Ichiraku. Then Chouji heads off home (because maybe, secretly, he knows they should be together, xDD), leaving Shikamaru and Ino by themselves to go lay in the grass or walk around at the beach peacefully and having fun. x3

Well I imagine Ino and Shikamaru's first date would be like Tetsani and Shikamaru's first date. No that's not some random girls that shows up in the show don't worry lol. Tetsani is my character in one of my RPs and she's with Shikamaru. YAY! Anyways. They went for a walk and ended up in the trees staring at the clouds. Of course it's not that great with out the details. But it was a really nice moment. ^^

i think shika would be playing hard to get (up from sleeping that is). so ino would just go to him say "meet me in the ramen shop in an hour. cause were a couple". and he would lk "troublesome..." (but go anyway).
then chouji would owe asuma 5 bucks cause i say so.

I see them watching the stars at night, and some reason I see Ino falling alseep in Shikamarus chest, and then Shikamaru, "Uhhh...How Troublesome." But, he doesn't move until she wakes up. More or less it wasn't really a date, but more a precursoer to them dating...
