Sephiroth that we were we following around on the first disc was either a clone, which Sephiroth and Jenova made to look like Sephiroth, or was a projection made by the really Sephiroth and Jenova. Well I was wondering I haven't played on FF7 in ages because my playstation is broken and my ps2 will not play my FF7 but couldn’t be possible that its cloud. He could have made a projection of Sephiroth so he had something to follow. But I might be wrong I need to play on it again to be sure.

The Sephiroth we see and are following through disk 1 is really Jenovas body from within the Shinra HQ. It broke itself out and took the form of Sephiroth to lure Cloud around the planet pretty much. Sephiroth was in control of it the entire time though, from the Crater. I could explain more, but Im tired and lazy.

That makes sense, but i don't think sephy is in control i think Jenova is control everything that gose on

No, Sephiroth is the one in control. It has been confirmed to be so.
His will is stronger than Jenova's.
