((Since there aren't really enough to make a seperate class for every group... And it's also the first group of scrolls...Can we say unprepared?
Reign, Papina, Isdra and Nathaniel once they grow to adv. child. ))
A semi-circle of desks surrounded a large, thick blue mat. Heavy stone walls blocked the underground room in, and harsh white light streamed down from above. Rather nervously Dr. Smith stood in the center of the room, a small clipboard in his hand. Written down on it were the children's names and what changes had been observed in them.
With a tug on the fringe of hair left on his head the historian fidgeted. He was supposed to try to teach history to a bunch of active kids? He couldn't even get history across to his peers. This was going to take some work... Hmm...Perhaps playacting? Hmm...It might work. There weren't any props in here though. The man mulled over the advantages and disadvantages of such an idea as he waited on the children to come.

Reign stuck her head in the doorway. "Is this my classroom, Mister?" She asked the pacing man, stepping on into the room as she awaited an answer. She let her gaze drift over the room. Her tail flicked back and forth and she hoisted her pink backpack higher on her back. She was dressed in one of her favorite pink and frilly dresses with ribbons on her tail and in her hair.

A leaf poked sideways across the door frame as Papina debated poking her head into the room or not. She had finally convinced her mom to let her walk to class on her own once they had walked to school. She finally worked up the nerve to poke her head into the room and look around. She grinned upon seeing Reign and quickly shuffled into the room to stand with Reign between her and the unknown person, her eyes wide as she took in the scene. She finally decided to speak up, if only with a soft "Hihi," to anyone who could hear her.

Though her dad has dropped her off, he had stopped coming in with her. Isdra walked through the door with her pink, green, and brown shoulder bag just above the ground. "Hi Reign," she muttered, quite happy she could finally talk right. Now she just had to concouer writing.

Dr. Smith check the names off, one by one. Fur.... must be Reign, who was becoming half monkey. The girl was pink and white and frilly. "It must be.." he gestured at one of the desks. "You can put your things there. There are still a few more children coming." He said, glancing at her askance. A scroll child.. And more to come. All his hopes, dreams, enduring the ridicule of others.. All for this pink frilly little girl.
Uneasily he tapped on the notepad, waiting for the next child. She wasn't long in coming, a leaf poking into the room before the girl herself came in. Papina, who seemed about to become a plant herself. His gaze flicked at the harsh lights, hopefully they wouldn't pose a problem. "Good afternoon!" he replied to the girl's soft greeting.
Nearly on the heels of Papina came Isdra. The girl was just as noticable as the other two with delicate paper streaching over her hands. The girl muttered a greeting to one of the others.
A few more moments passed without anyone else showing up. "Er.. Allright then. If you girls will put your things on a desk.. We'll get started." He pushed the glasses back up onto his face. "How many of you know what the Royal Library of Alexandria is?" Hopefully they'd know something...

The pink frilly girl greeted the other two girls happily, then looked over as the man spoke again.
Reign plopped her backpack down at a close desk and sat down, her tail curling about the legs of the desk to stay out of the aisle.
In answer to the man's question, Reign answered aloud, without even raising her hand. "A library! For kings and queens." She had no idea about the Alexandria part. Must be a person's name or something...

Papina shoved her stuff under one of the desks and dropped down onto the seat, squirming to get her feet placed just right. She looked up at the question and blinked. Reign then said something that did make sense, so Papipa pointed at Reign and added her two cents worth, "What she said."

Isdra sat sideways in a chair and put her bag on the desk. Looking up at Dr. Smith, then the other two girls, she blinked and shrugged not knowing what it was at all. This Alexandria person must have lots of money to have a library all to herself.

"Er well.." Creative answer that one... "No." Dr. Smith looked at the girls. This wasn't going to work... Not at all. The historian wiped his forehead. "How about a story?" he asked hopefully, not really waiting for a reply.
"Lets see, lets see. Once upon a time," He paused for a moment. That was how stories started right? Right.. "Once upon a time there was a huge library in Alexandria Eygpt. Since it was started by the...er.. King and Queen, it was called the Royal Library."
Dr. Smith glanced anxiously at the girls, hoping his story wasn't boring them to tears. Or sleep...or... whatever.

Reign clapped her hands together excitedly. "Yay, story!!" She exclaimed before shutting her mouth to actually listen to the man's story. It did have kings and queens in it. So maybe she had been right, just the man was silly about it.
As Dr. Smith paused, Reign leaned forward in her chair, her head propped up on her hands, her elbows planted firmly on the desk surface and her tail twitching happily from side to side. Stories were fun!

Papina grinned in delight and placed her elbows on the desk as she placed her chin in her cupped hands to pay better attention to the story. She loved stories! Plus this one had a king and queen in it. Stories with kings and queens were always good. The leaf on top of her head seemed to twitch with the same excitement Papina was filled with. Of course, it could be twitching due to the happy squirming Papina was doing in her seat as she listened.

Yippy, another fairytale. She thought to herself as she referred back to the times Paen had tried to tell her a fairytale. An arguement had always come up about how Isdra thought it was unrealistic and how Paen thought she shouldn't have been born female. It was a never-ending process. "So why did they build a library out there anyway?"

"That's where they lived, it was the cultural home of Eygpt." The man studied the girls. Two seemed fairly interested but Isdra just seemed bored. "Why don't you girls act it out?" He suggested scribbling down some notes. "Now.. Who would like to be the King? Queen? And... Knight." His voice dropped to a dramatic whisper. He held up three folded peices of paper explaining each part.

Reign's eyes grew big as the man told them they could act the story out. Queen? She sooo had to have that part. "Me! Me! I wanna be the queen!!!" Her arm was stretched up in the air and waving about excitedly. Queens always wore pretty dresses. Did that mean she would get to dress up in a pretty and frilly dress? The girl hoped so.

Hmmm, King, or Knight? King... or Knight... Maybe she should be Knight, but she'd let Isdra decide first. Papina looked over at her fellow student, waiting to see which one Isdra would choose. Hopefully not Knight...
