Description: Megan is a tall girl, about 5' 7'', she has long dark brown hair that falls a few inches below her shoulders, but which she usually keept back in a pony tail. She has long bangs that she sweeps to her left , or keeps in a clip when she needs then to be out of her face. She has olive tanned skin that give her a kind of tropical apperence especially when mixed with her Bright Green eyes. Her body is well toned because of her love of outdoor activity, and her clothing usually consists of a tank top/ spagetti strap blouse and long blue jeans or cargo pants. She is almost always in tenni shoes but will ocasionaly wear flip flops when the weather it too much.

Personality Megan is generally a nice girl, prefering to belive that there is good in everyone and likes to keep herself busy with productive things, (ie chores, exercise, sports, cooking, homework, ect) because after all the devil dreams on an idle horse. She tends to have a smile on her face and laughs easily and genuinly. She is also feircly loyal to those whom she consideres friend. When she is not around friends or just wants to relax, Megan can be very mellow/quiet and will just pick a nice place to sit and watch time pass by.

On the down side Megan does not like to "bother" people either with her problems or just in any general situation. If she deems you are too busy she will simply not bother you. This is bad because she tends to keep alot inside and at times this can surface and make Megan become very withdrawn and depressed. Also if it is something that you need to know but you seem busy she will not tell you untill she deems you are "not busy" so this could be bad for whomever she needs to tell. ANother thing is that she is loyal to her friends and if you get close enough she is loyal to the point where you can do no wrong, much like a puppy and thus easily taken advantage of in certain situations.


Likes: cooking, cleaning, hanging with friends, green stuff, red stuff, chocolate, sports, watching time pass by, reading, swimming, hiking, painting/drawing, TENNIS!!!

Dislikes: people who insist on sharing their opinion about every thing...~.~...stubborn people (*coughhippocritcough*), people who think they are better than everyone else, anchovies, raw onions, colors so bright that they give you a headache @.@

History Megan grew up in a small Suburb of LA in southern California, she lived in a small house with only her mother and father, she never had siblings. Her family was small but close and she enjoyed living life as an only child, she never needed for company, she always had a pet cat that she imagined was her sister. Her father was a gardener by occupation, he loved to work in the families small back yard and was able to turn a small dirt patch into a little slice of paradise. But he did have a 8 - 5 desk job at a nearby office building which he hated but worked to have money for the family.

Megans mother worked as well, but she worked in the families small restauraunt, which was actually the whole bottom floor of their two story house. Megan worked with her mother when she was home and on summer vacation since as soon as she could walk. The restauraunt was a small mexican / Irish pubish kind of place and had a good amount of regulars. Her mother also had about 3 other people that were under her employ which helped and made everything easier. Since Megan and her mother literally lived in the story above the diner there was a nice calm family atmosphere about the place and usually all of the employees and regulars knew each other well, so the pub "Maggies" as it was called (this is where she got her nickname) was sort of a safe haven for Megan, a place non exsistant in the regular world, just a place for friends and family.

Megan went to a public school and did well in her classes, her parents always drilled into her the need to have great grades and go to college to get a carrer that she will be happy with. Because she wanted her parents to be proud she did her best in school, she was in her high school tennis team, the marching band, the top 25 of the student body, and various other clubs. She was very active in her schools events and made many friends, she always seemed to have a need to fit in and would often work hard to be what others wanted her to be. That was why she did so many things and kept up her grades, it was for her parents but unfortunately it took a bit of a toll on her. At times she tried to do too much, but she would never tell her parents or friends and the stress would build up and began to make Megan become a bit withdrawn and very different from her usual happy self. This caused her friends and family concern, and though she hid it well Megan still showed some signs of the stress that haunted her. She would never allow anyone to help, not wanting to inconvinience anyone and so plowed through her high school years. Mostly she survived because she felt comfortable and safe when she was in the Pub helping out with the cooking, cleaning, or just chatting with the regulars. It was really a place where she could let loose and just not worry about the world. It was also a place where she was accepted as is unlike school or the city.

After Megan graduated from high school she was not sure what she wanted to become in life, so she continued to work at the pub, go to comunity college, and live a comfortable life. In her 20th year one of the regulars, an older man whom Megan always reffered to as pap (she considered him a grandfather since she had never met any of her grandparents) fell sick. He was eventually admitted into a hospital and Megan visited him often, noticing his worsening condition as the weeks passed. Whenit seemed he was beyond all help Megan had him discharged from the hospital and took him home. She didnt want him to die in a cold sterile hospital and he didnt want to die there either so she cared for him in her home above the pub.

Megans mother helped watch over the old man and began to pool her knowledge of homemade medicines with her father. Pap's condition seemed to lessen as Megans parents treated him with various herbs and teas and Megan was amazed at how simple plants could have such an effect when modern medicine did nothing. Pap made a full recovery and soon enough was back downstairs drinking Guiness and living in the old folks home a few blocks away.

This event sparked something in Megan and she wanted to learn more about how the plants could do so much. So she used a few of her connections and transfered from her comunity college to a nearby UC and began to study to become a botanist. In her 23rd year Megan became aware of a pharmecutical company that was doing experiments to find curative properties in animals and plants. Curious Megan did some research and found that the company was always looking for volunteers to help in the reaserch, and there seemed to be a study coming up on plants. Megan grew excited and put her name into the pot. A few weeks later she was contacted by one Dr. Moreau and asked if she would like to participate in a study that would try to make a plant hybrid that could be easily harvested ad used for treatments. Megan accepted inmediately, she was consumed in curiosity to find out what the doctor had planned that could make a plant so treatment friendly, since most plants usually had to be prepared to be used in perscriptions and such. Thus soon she was sent a profile on specific plant she was to study, Myrtus communis, and given a ticket to go to an island paradise where the doctor said the reaserch would take place.

How she gets on the island: Megan finds out about Feral Labs plan to create a plant hybrid that could be "milked" and used inmediately, as to get the most effect on people. She puts her name in the pot and is accepted, then contacted and sent to the island, completely curious about how this is to be achieved and excited about the cures that it could create.

What serum and why? I would like Megan to be injected with a Myrtus communis serum because she is always looking to help the people around her, and I think it would be something else if she finds out that she is becoming a cure herself. Also I think that this would be something that the doctor would do, because if this experiment works then she would be quite a cure that would make him alot of profit, not to mention since the plant is rumored to help phycological sicknesses she might be used to treat some of the islanders...literally. Also if she becomes a failed experiment...well she would make a nice boquet.

Build: Megan is well built, not buff or anything, but she does enjoy playing sports and activity so she has a relatively nice body. Granted she isnt a beauty queen either, and is very consious of the fact. She stands at about 5' 7'' so is relatively tall for a girl.
Hair: Megan has meduim length wavy dark brown hair, with long bangs that sweep to her left. She usually has her hair in a ponytail to keep it out of the way, since she is usually playing tennis or doing something in the water, but her bangs are always loose and tend to be in her face.
Eyes: Megan has bright Green eyes, that tend to be able to give her emotions away.

After graduating Megan was a bit relived and as soon as she had gotten into the college of her choice she set off. She wanted to pursue a carrer in Marine animal care and research so her college was naturaly near the coast. Her schooling went slowly since she had to work as a waitress at a nearby restauraunt to pay her tuition and dorm but she was just optimistic about being able to handle her classes and school better than she did in high school.

How does your Character get to/why was your character chosen for the Island? Megan is a young Female in very good shape and gulible, so she is easily swayed by a brochure that offers a trip to an island paradise to go searching for ner aquatic creatures. She pays for her plane tickets to get to the rondevu point and leaves to go see the sights and try out her hand at exploring and reaserchhoping to make a name for her self in the Marine research comunity.

What Animal Serum do you want?: I want the caracel/ lionfish combination serum

Describe your ideal 100% appearance: 100% look
Megan will have her upper torso mostly feline, still having hands and a felinesque face. I would like her eyes to stay bright green, but that it up to the artist. Her hands would be webbed and maybe have fins on the forearm, maybe her ears could be a bit webbed and mixed in a fishy way, or left as feline. Along her back would be the Lionfish spines and just after her waist, along her tail would be a set of fins the ones that are usually near a tail. I dont think that Megan would have a dorsal fin because the spines tend to take the place, and are sometimes webbed or just singular. The rest of the tail would be just like a Lionfish tail. As for coloring I am not sure but an overlapping of the patterns would look nice I would think, because if the underlying color of the light brown Caracel combined with the white stripes of the lionfish I imagine would be pretty, or the rudy red color of the lionfish could bleed into the light brown...ya the color is up to the artist.

Why this animal/plant for your character?: I would like the caracel and lionfish combination serum because I want Megan to become a semi Marine like creature so that she can feel what it is like to be an aquatic animal. Also the Caracel being a feline is very vocal and open with its emotions which is something that megan is not used to showing, and the lion fish is a very poisonous little thing and having such a poison on her body I belive will freak Megan out very much since she generally has good intentions 3: P


What do you think really makes this concept? What makes this concept is that a regular, conservative, teenage girl is put into a situation where all the rules of society that she has learned are out the window and where she does indeed find a new specimin of aquatic creature, but is not prepared to feal with the fact that the new specimen is her.
