"At one point a friend of mine was like that. He had always been somewhat arrogant growing up. When he started playing guitar he learned much faster than most of his other friends (including me). this sort of went to his head at first. This was kind of annoying and made others feel like s**t. He was better than us and knew it; but he still wasn't that great."
"Now he isn't like that at all. He is using the talents he's developed to help better other peoples' guitar playing. He is officially removed from the poser list ^^ "

There are many retarded emo wannabes who are rich snobs and buy Gibsons and a Marshall JCM (2000). Like all the kids who think they are good they can't play s**t and when they have a song to play at a gig (they play emo stuff) if the lead and rhythm has the same part the one that can't play for s**t (rhythm) has there amp off. They don't even have guitar teachers so they won't be learning so fast.

Jerrod Buffington. He thinks he can play AND sing. And yet he sounds like a cat with a hairball mixed with a that same cat strumming on a harp with a katana. He's a total a*****e.

i'm pretty damn arrogant, but in no way can i outplay Steve Vai. he's got teh skillz. idk about the crappy talentless newer bands that have come out recently (Trivium, Atreyu, and A7X not included) though.

I know this kid from camp (it was a guitar camp =P) who has a 59' Les Paul, and thought he was amazing. During lessons (we had class lessons there), he would play over the teacher, play over other students trying to learn, and I think I heard the guitar solo from Wake Me Up When September End 500 mil times o_0

I know this one kid who went out and got a 100 some watt Marshall and a Zakk Wylde signature guitar as his first set. He pays twenty dollars for half an hour lessons at some place that teaches you s**t, then parades the halls of school like he's a good because he has a "sweet setup." All talk.

Well, so far, me and my friend are the only ones who play guitar. He's not arogant. He actually makes fun of himself...even though he's pretty good for his stage (he's been playing for 5 months).
I remember this one time, we were listening to "all along the watchtower". And when the part where Jimi seems to slide alot...as if a solo, he said, "listen! my guitar solo is coming up!!" (at the time he could only slide on the G string...not bad after playing for a day.) xD
