It was early morning and most wolves were still sleeping. Most, but not all.
Darius rose carefully and picked his way out of the den one little pawstep at a time. His parents were still asleep, and so were his siblings. Or, he thought they were. Hopefully, if they were just pretending, they wouldn't follow him. How was he supposed to do what he wanted to do with siblings tagging along. Leith he didn't mind going out with, but his sisters were another story.
It wasn't that he didn't like them, it was simply that they were females. Sure, he loved females, and he loved his sisters, but they didn't seem to understand his motives quite like Leith.
Once outside, the young male stretched out his limbs one by one, starting with his forelegs then going on to the back ones. After his drowsiness had worn off for the most part, he wagged his tail and took in a great breath, taking in all the wonderful scents of the morning. The only thing that would make it better would be for him to go out on an adventure.
Giving himself one last shake, Dar walked slowly away from the den. Hopefully he'd be back in time so that his parents didn't worry. But he'd make no promises. The ladies, after all, could be very demanding.

Kaede awoke with hearing a shuffling noise in the den, ears perking forward she watched as Darius started to sneak out. This wasn't good. Then he walked outside the den's entrance and he couldn't see him anymore. She was so tired, but she couldn't just fall back asleep. She was his big sister afterall, and Damu and Taima told her to watch over Darius and the others...as best she could.
Standing up and sneaking out afterhim she pawed along, trying to be all stealthy like Damu, but graceful in a sense like Taima.
But she wasn't alone.
Rei opened her eyes, blue eyes and watched as Kaede went out after Darius, well wasn't this interesting. Both sneaking out, she could wake Damu and Taima up right now and get both in trouble.
But- she didn't feel like it today. Rei loved her brother, but Kaede...that was a whole other story. She'd only want to get Kaede in trouble, not Darius. So Rei snuck out after Kaede, following her following Darius.
Kaede was only a few feet behind Darius when she finally called out to them when they weren't within earshot of the den anymore, "And where do you think your going hmm?" she said with a smirk.
Rei rolled her eyes and padded in front of Kaede more between Darius and her and grinned, "Anywhere he wants prange face..." she said flicking her tail to the side, "Right brother?"

Darius had a feeling that someone was behind him, but he was in too good of a mood to really pay any attention to it. Yet he was kind of forced to when Kaede asked where he was going, and Rei seemed to be present as well.
Sighing, as he had thought this would be a morning all to himself, he simply shook his head. "I'm going for a walk. I couldn't sleep." Okay, so it was a bit of a lie, but a little lie never hurt anyone, right? Besides, it wasn't like he was going to do anything bad. He was out for a walk... it was just a purposeful walk.
Yet he forgot all about his walk when Rei insulted their bigger sister.
"Hey, be nice to her, Rei!" he half-growled, narrowing his eyes slightly. Though, she was his sister and he couldn't help but not stay mad at her. Loosening up, he straightened and looked around them.
"Anyways, let's go before mom and dad wake up and make us go back to bed."
And with that, the little stud turned about on his paws and began padding away from their den. Knowing his sisters, they would follow.

Kaede sighed at Rei who seemed quite full of herself. Darius said he just wanted to go for a walk, but there were never really any "walks" she knew that, they were more chances to find adventure or something fun to do. Which she couldn't complain of doing right at that point. She did however appreciate Darius standing up for her when Rei said something mean.
Rei huffed and sayed her tail back and forth and padded along behind Darius, making it so Kaede was at the end of the line...which was where Rei believed Kaede should be. Kaede wasn't a sister to Rei, just an obstacle and an annoyance she wanted to get rid of.
"So where are we going?" Rei asked Darius in an unbeat tone and she craned her neck around to look at Kaede, "Sure you cna keep up with us?" she asked grinning, then wentback to totally ignoring the fact Kaede was there.
This was going to be interesting.

Darius became quickly annoyed with Rei's attitude, but for the time being he did nothing about it. If she continued to run her mouth then he would step in again. But until then he simply padded along with his sisters in tow.
Flicking his ears back as he listened to his sister's words, he thought for a moment. Where were they going? He didn't have any particular place in mind. He had thought that it'd be nice to wander around and hopefully find someone to talk to. But then he remembered how early it was and wondered if anyone else besides them would be awake.
So in truth, he really didn't know where he was going, only that he was going somewhere. But he couldn't tell that to his sisters! What kind of a brother would he look like then?
"Just wait and see, it's a surprise." A surprise for all of them, he was sure. But he made himself sound confident and totally sure of where they were going.
A few minutes going along and suddenly Dar was hearing a voice. Was he going crazy? No! A beautiful boy like him couldn't be going crazy. What would the ladies think?! Shaking his head, he stopped and craned his neck around to peer at his two sisters.
"Jenna!!"
"Do you guys hear that?" the male asked, perking his ears and looking this way and that, attempting to locate the source of the sound.

A surprise? Both Rei and Kaede tilted their heads in wonderment of what the surprise could be. For two 'siblings' that didn't seem to get along, both fo them acted quite similar to eachother...which was another reason for Rei to dislike Kaede.
Rei was plotting against Kaede everyday, hoping sometime it would pay off,Rei didn't want Kaede to get any attention from her mom and dad, they were HER parents, not Kaede's, as far as Rei was concerned. Kaede didn't even look like any of them...
Ears perked forward as something seemed to echo not too far off. Kaede heard it slightly, only confirmed it when Darius said something about it, "I cna hear it too...what do you think it is?" she wondered, in the perspective of friend or foe, and if they should go to see what it was. Three pups wandering aimlessly away from home wasn't the best of ideas.
Rei smirked while she watched Kaede, Kaede didn't seem to want to find out what the sound was, pfft, just like her. "Lets go see what it is Darius...it could be a girl..." she said in a smirk, for Rei knew Darius liked the idea of other girls wolves...

"Jenna, where are you? This isn't funny!!"
The voice certainly sounded female. Perhaps it was a damsel in distress? That would be a perfect opportunity for Darius to start up his reputation. After all, there were a lot of females in the woods. He had to start somewhere, right?
Grinning, he glanced back at his sisters. "Let's go check it out!" Then, without so much as waiting for an answer, he trotted quickly in the direction of the voice, which by now had become quite frantic.
The source of the voice was a small female wolf. She was far from the place where she had entered these lands a couple of weeks ago. Only a couple of days ago, her best friend disappeared randomly. Since then, Hallie hadn't seen neither hide nor hair nor smelt Jenna's scent since she had disappeared. It was starting to get the little wolf worried. Jenna had promised to help her find Cassidy, her sister, so why had she run off like this?
Pacing back and forth, she grumbled to herself and called out a few more times. After a few calls, there were some rustling in the bushes. High hopes shot through her body as she stopped suddenly and glanced over at the bushes.
"Jenna...?"
Dar, figuring there was no point in hiding now, came out of the bushes with a rather large grin on his face. "It's Darius, not Jenna. But that's okay. I can let it slide with a pretty lady like you," he said smoothly, settling down on his haunches and looking Hal politely over.
Hallie, however, wasn't pleased.
"I don't care who you are! I'm looking for Jenna. I'd appreciate it if you left me alone."

Kaede and Rei kept a steady pace behind Darius when they both heard the voice again. Rei smirked as Kaede rolled her eyes thinking "here we go..." for Darius seemed to be developing a certain type of personality...one that would be easily attracted to the female wolves of the forests.
Kaede watched as another small wolf, pup age came into view. Rei was scanning the ground for any pebbles she could chuck at Kaede's head while she wasn't looking. But to no avail, the ground was mostly that of dirt, leaves and grass...pity.
But both Rei and Kaede almost burst out laughing when Darius said "pretty lady" they had to choke on their laughter so they wouldn't give the female pup the wrong idea.
"Darius, be nice..." Kaede said trying to act all big-sister-like. But Rei wanted to stab her with teh stick she had just found...but Rei beileved Darius would get into teh middle of things. "He doesn't mean anything by it...its just...like him," Kaede said smiling wagging her tail.

Darius winced, as if this new female's words hurt him physically. But, of course, they didn't; he was merely being dramatic.
"Ouch. You know, that really hurt. Deep," he said casually as he rose to his paws and began to circle Hallie, looking every inch of her over. Once he felt satisfied, he settled back down again, this time with his sisters. There was a stupid grin over his face as he watched the other pace back and forth. She really was frustrated.
"I don't care if it hurts. I said just leave me alone!" she half-growled, her tail bristling at this pompous male. He really was annoying. Who did he think he was? Coming here and talking to her like that. She was very worried for Jenna and all he could do was talk about how much he hurt? Hmph, conceited little...
"So you are looking for this Jenna wolf, eh?" he asked, even though he knew it already. Really, all he was doing was trying to calm Hal down so that he could actually talk with her. But she seemed to have something else in mind.
Growling again, the female whirled around to face him, her eyes narrowed angrily. "Listen, you little brat, I'm looking for my friend. I don't have time for wolves like you. So PLEASE just leave me alone and be on your way with your little band of mindless followers." Darius smiled. He liked her fiesty attitude.
"Oh, but my lady! Don't you think I could help? Surely four eyes are better than two? And these aren't my mindless followers... they're my sisters!"
Hallie paused for a moment to look at Rei, then at Kaede. After a few seconds, she merely snorted. "Please... just leave me alone."

Rei thought this whole situation was quite amusing. Kaede seemed irritated by it, Rei thought it was hilarious. Kaede couldn't stop Darius from being how he was, adn Kaede wouldn't seem like a big sister if she didn't succeed in making him stop...Rei thought it was too prefect.
Kaede noticed this pup seemed agitated with Darius, she sighed and tried to make sense of it all. Darius was so young, it couldn't be possible that he was starting to act like Damu already was it? He was much too young...but Kaede however didn't know much in that subject...she didn't even know how the puppies came to be exactly. Mom and dad told her she was too young to know, so certainly Darius was too young to be looking for a lady friend...right?
Rei huffed and didn't appreciate it when she was labeled as a mindless follower, "Look you litte-" Rei began, but she stopped when she saw and was taken aback by a glare from Kaede. So she just kept quiet, for now at least.
"Darius, if she doesn't want to be bothered let her be, if she wants help she'll ask for it," not that Kaede thought she needed help. This pup seemed quiet able by herself. But she didn't want Darius to keep bothering her.
"I apologize for my brothers actions..." Kaede said trailing off, but Rei cut in quietly,
"I don't, I think its funny..." Rei said with a smirk.
Things didn't seem to be going well.

Darius looked back at his sisters again as each one spoke in turn. Kaede didn't seem to pleased with this all. Sure, this new female didn't seem to like him, but he was trying to work on that! How could he work on getting her to like him if his sister was telling him to leave her alone? That just wouldn't do. The great Darius had to work his magic!
Hallie narrowed her eyes at the three others. "You should listen to her, she knows what she's talking about. Apparently you've never seen a female on a rampage before."
The male merely grinned at this instead of taking a hint and leaving Hal alone. And it didn't please her too much. That other comment from Rei wasn't exactly welcome either.
"Oh, you think it's funny?" she asked, her fur bristling. She'd show this female a thing or two. "How about I go over there and claw your ears off, show you what it feels like to listen to this idiot over here?" She was talking about Darius when she said idiot.
Yet, instead of being insulted or jumping in to defend his sister against those words, he merely grinned again. "Ooh, fiesty, that's good. You know, I bet when you aren't angry you look really nice."
Hallie shook her head and blinked at the male. "Do you hear me? I sad GO AWAY before I do claw one of your ears off."

This wasn't good, Kaede could maybe get in troule if she didn't calm everynoe down, or just try and stop Darius from this random occurance. But he seemed so darn determined and didn't seem to be wanting to listen to reason.
However Rei thought it'd be perfect if Kaede got in trouble. But when the pup started to act all big and tough Rei huffed and stood up to try and step towards her, "Look you little fluffball, why don't you come over here and say that," Rei said as her eyes narrowed but Kaede steped between them and tried pushing Rei back.
"Stop being so caught up with yourself, leave her alone," Rei pawed at Kaede's shoulder to try adn knock her out of the way but didn't hit that hard, Kaede just went with it and winced cause it hurt a little but she wasn't sure what to do anymore about Rei or Darius.
This was hopeless.

Hallie growled at Rei when she challenged her. This wolf obviously didn't know who she was dealing with! She probably still had to depend on her parents, whereas Hal had already left home and was living just fine and dandy on her own.
"Maybe I will!" she growled, stepping forward as if she were really going to go over there and get in Rei's face. But Darius stepped in between the two, pressing himself against her and pushing her away from his sister slightly. Hallie growled at him and stepped away, not liking how close he had dared to get.
"Hey now, no need to go fighting. We can get along, can't we? Why don't me and my sisters just help you find whoever you are looking for, and then we can all eat a rabbit or something." Darius smiled charmingly as he looked from his sisters to the other female. He really needed them to get along, or he'd have to leave one of them so that there wasn't a fight.
The female merely snorted and walked away. "Have a nice day, rats."
Darius frowned as he looked after her. Once she was gone and out of view, he turned back to Rei. "Nice going." He shook his head then walked past her and back towards home.
