I started my first real day of work today. It sucked. I was standing up the whole time... 4 hours straight. My back and feet are killing me. And all for $3.30 an hour plus shared tips. And then the last table we cleaned, it took 3 of us to clean it up. They had a bunch of little kids with them and they threw shredded cheese everywhere and they threw the sugar packets everywhere. It was like a bunch of pigs ate there. And then they only left the waiter a 2 dollar tip. And we do shared tips. So that was 2 dollars for like 10 people. scream
I don't know how people can just let their kids act like that. Don't they realize that there are people who have to clean up after them??

Yikes! $3.30/hour?!
Minimum wage is $5.15 here, and I thought me gettin $6.10/hour was really harsh... sweatdrop
I'd pay you $20 bucks! x3
I understand what it's like to have bad kids in your store/restraunt. Kids come into Jo-Ann's all the time with crackers and stuff, and then they crunch them into the carpeting. -.-

Minimum wage is $5.15 here. But since all I do is seat people and clear tables and also get some of the waiters' tips, I only get paid $3.30 an hour. The waiters get paid less than that I think.

Minimum wage is 6 or 7 dollars here. I dont know the exact amount though. I heard waiters get paid less but they get lots of tips so its worth it. Well in Oklahoma they have pretty good tips or something. Gosh its sad you get paid so low.

I feel lucky. I work for my dad, and he pays me 20 an hour. I have to search through piles of records for phone numbers, and organize his files. I'm like a personal assistant.
