Well this is a very humorous and fun anime. The story is about a guy named Hideki(thats his nickname)and he wants to go to tokyo university(doesnt that sound like love hina lol)but he lives out in the country and is not that smart when it comes to technology and stuff. When he gets his letter he finds that he did not get in so he decides to move to the city to go to prep school. There are these things a called persacons(sp): Persacons are a type of android that look human, but they seem so real that more people are falling in love with their persacon than real humans. Now on his first night in Tokyo Hideki while walking out in the night spys a half naked woman with bandages covering her body. When he gets a closer look he finds out that it is actually a persacon someone just threw away. He takes advantage of the situation and takes her home where he tries to turn her on, but he cant find the switch. The switch is not in the most comfortable spot as it is between the persacon's legs(yes you heard me right) he has to put his finger in to turn it on. When he sucessfully turns the persacon on she can only say one word "chi" so he names her that.
Has anyone heard of this anime before or seen it. Its really good.

I've never watched the anime, but I have all of the manga.
It was a cute story, but the only reason I picked it up was because I fell in love with Chi's character design. blaugh

I liked the story adn the little books Chi always read. I really like the graphix I see for that anime/manga too.
I had at one time read all the manga, but that was a really long time ago, but alas I had never had the chance to see the anime.

I read volumes 3 and 4 and watched the first four episodes.
Chii's adorable, and the story seems really sweet but dark. I really want to see/read more since I do love CLAMP stuff.
