I'm getting a $100 Guitar Center giftcard from my job, and I'm thinking of a new pedal but I can't decide, maybe:
- BBE Sonic Stomp Pedal: supposedly makes your tone super nice.
- MXR ZW-44 Wylde Overdrive pedal: I heard it's good overdrive
- Electro-Harmonix Metal Muff: looks like it trows some good distrotion.
- Boss CS-3 Compression Sustainer pedal: I need sustain, because of my noise reduction pedal
- Maybe a foot Tunner for when i'm at gigs, cuz once happened I was ready and when we were going to start my guitar went off tune.
- Maybe a Volume pedal for Slow songs, for that violin effect.
- Marshall JH-1 JackHammer Metal X-L Pedal: Heard it sounds like a close To JMC's
I have too many things on my mind but a you can see I'm leanning towards Metal Distortions more, because the Line6 UberMetal I have is too digital, and I'm looking for a more natural sound, So Í'm Leanningi even more for the Electro-Harmonix Metal Muff. Any suggestions or commnents will be useful

get some reverb and a flange and learn surf razz
or just get yourself a real good fuzz box, like a fuzz face or a tube screamer.

METAL MUFF. DEAR GOD GET THE METAL MUFF! i just bought one and its the best distortion pedal i've ever played with. its got huge distortion available as well as lighter distortion, and it has a wonderful Top Boost switch thats great for leads and solos. plus you can customize the hell out of it.

Have a look at a digitech Tremolo pedal.
You can get some very 'out there' sounds with it. It's a feature in Tom Morello's setup.
But it's one of those pedals that you use to experiment with, if you're looking to improve tone or look for a good distortion, I'd wait 'till getting this little baby.

if you're looking to improve your sustain, you might want to consider the compression pedal, but that's going to affect the dynamic of your playing as well. Another way of improving sustain is to get a good set of pickups to really beef up your guitar. That's something that can really open up the sounds of your guitar.

Well I have active EMG's which are pretty good. but the main thing is that since I'm always playing through a noise suppresor, I takes away some sustain, and i can't turn it off because there's too much noise coming from the amp, being a Half-stack. So I think im going to get the Metal Muff and a Maybe MXR's Dyna Comp, or Super Comp. Because lately I'm into Clapton a lot, and my sound is not bluessy enough.

try turning down your noise gate a little, so it releases sooner, and shuts later
