UPDATE: Going to repost what I said in a different thread here: InternalHardDrive I'm starting to get sick of people blaming the guild. You have a choice of whether you continue the drama or not. I see this all the time while moderating. People could have moved on and ignored what was going on, but instead they choose to keep the drama going. There's nothing wrong with dropping and leaving a subject. Stating that you've all ready said your opinion, you don't want to argue about it anymore, and ignoring what's being said. If you feel like you need to personally defend yourself against someone who is personally attacking you, that's when you contact me and point out what's going on so I can deal with the situation. Overall, that would create less drama. We're going to run into these problems due to the fact that it's harder to ignore problems, but instead of blaming the guild all the time, we need to take action to try and prevent these problems from escalating. We need to take some initiative in the matter and put a stop to this. Unless, you know, we all want the game to fall apart and cease to exist because none of us can get along anymore. I don't think any of us want that. I don't want that. So maybe we should try to change how things are going. ^^;; My $0.02. If someone is attacking you in the guild, don't attack right back. Contact ME. That way, there will hopefully be less drama. I'm getting sick of this behavior.

Or maybe it's just me, because I haven't seen any personal attacks. Just strategy (not very well conceived, mind you).

XD Drama's inherent in the game. I'm used to it. It's when it turns personal that there's a problem. Calling each other bitches and whores and stuff constitutes personal attacking in my book in the context some people have been posting those kind of terms. I'm getting sick of it real fast.

This is why we got moved out of the GCD. XD
We're so bent on keeping others from flaming, but we'll do it freely to others within our guild.
The GCSG has declined in fun since people began harbouring feelings against one another.

I'm not at that point yet. whee I may have to seek that as a possibility in the future, but right now I won't take any action. If this keeps up, though, I'm going to have to do something. The first step would be the rule itself. If it would keep on, I'd probably seek crew members to help keep the rule enforced.

Yes! I was about to point that out.
This has gone too far.
I once got victimized by breakers of this rule on my first day in the game. It was rare back then, but I was bashed. Badly. To the point where I was screaming in literary form. I actually had to tell Zae! (And I won't namedrop the rule-breakers, by the way)
I say it should be inforced, now that we're in a guild. 3nodding

also in the thread, it was much easier to ignore serious drama, because everyone would be in the same place and you could just...go talk with someone else. But while you're in a guild thread, it's just you and a few others, which will cause drama to get out of hand...I think anyway. *shrugs*
