Yes, I may be working to survive but im still happy because my job helps people. You just don't want to forget your dreams. Get a job that makes you happy doing it.

My advise is, " Learn the system down to its smallest elements. Then you have to be smart and USE the system thorough, around and sometimes against itself." It's the only way I can see myself going through some of societies loopholes nowadays.

The thing is that we need the system, we need to work to eat or we can live like a farmet hermit and grow our own food yet then how would we pay for a toilet, electric, or kitchen stuff?

Rats_have_rights The thing is that we need the system, we need to work to eat or we can live like a farmet hermit and grow our own food yet then how would we pay for a toilet, electric, or kitchen stuff? I suppose that we could all go back to living off the land. Our ancestors did it, and obviously they survived or we wouldn't be here. But it is possible to keep the system the way it is, but without the corruption, the isolationism, and with a better economy. Money is the root of all evil. We need to go back to the old trade and barter system. Actually I think we need to get paid what we're worth, and they need to stop selling oil for $2 or more a gallon when they only pay $5 per 50 gallon drum. Hmm. I think we're being ********. (and not in the good way folks. open your eyes and look at the corruption.) Makes me think of a song by System Of A Down: "They're tryin' to build a prison, they're tryin' to build a prison...for you and me...."

MUCHO DELAYED SECONDARY RESPONSE: As a side note, the system isn't the enemy, people. The system is more like a close friend who's an alchoholic and needs an intervention.

Showing people why they're wrong and them learning from their errors is better for the world than cutting their hand off.

i think that the system is starting to fix itself. sure, there's a lot of craptacularness (we had to choose between bush and kerry) but cities are getting greener and people are really beginning to understand the whole spirit of the earth thing. i dunno what i'm trying to say or where i'm going with this really.

When a single mom lives in a shack with 4 kids, and the neighborhood gets greener, and parks are built, and abandon houses are torn down and turns into nice homes, property tax goes up, rent goes up, and she gets kicked out, and she moves to another shck with her 4 kids.... its not getting better. not until it's better for everyone who's willing to work for it.
