Above you read the more poetic story of Lemina.
Lemina was captured by men when she was a young pup, and raised for fighting.
The men were sailing from thier island home, to the continent for a dog fighting competition one day,
Bringing Lemina and a few of the Wolf hy-breds of thiers along. The competition had a award of a hundred thousand, and back in the day, when these things took place, that was alot of money, and we all know the greed of men.
Expecially men who would persue a carreer from winning dog fights. And so the ship lef tthe dock late that day and the sun was begining to set, casting the sky and ocean a'blaze.
Now, Lemina was not a mean wolf by any means, but she acted it when neccisary, for she knew is she didn't the men would beat her more, and so from time to time when the ship workers, or other men would pas by, and she would growl;
and from time to time your occasional grump would kick her cage.
Back in the day, the metal bars were not near as strong, and so after a few kicks to the same side over and over the mar began to bend.
Lemina would try to fit her head out, and after it was finally big enough for her to get her head out, she got the idea in her head to run away;
but she knew the men would catch her, so she spoke to the other wolves, and hybreds, and convinced them to try to find a way out of thier cage, and explained that if they could, they could attack the humands and run free.
now you see, the wolves were kept on the bottom level of the ship, along with other boxes and parcels, so they could easily get to work without one noticing; it was when one of the humans stepped in to check on things that they had to stop.
It was late into the night, and a large storm was rocking the ship,...water spilled into the bottom of the ship, through tiny round windows, and wetting the wood that made the tops of the animal's cages.
When the wood got soft, one of the larger wolves busted through, and all of the other animals went silent. other than a few footsteps above, and the shouting of various orders - the ship was nearing port - and the thunder and waves, and wing, noone seemed to have noticed the noise. Most of the ment though were probly too dead asleep to notice.
Anyway, following suit, some of the others who were not already free, busted out, and the group gathered near the door;
thier plan was set.
It was only an hour later when one of the sailers came to check on the animals - but what he found, was the snarling maws of many trained killers.
Lunging for his throat.
The man went down, but his scream caught the attention of the other men.
Many animals died, but even more men.
The big wolf took down the captain, and the ship was at the mercy of the waves - which weren't too merciful on this stormy night,...
soon the ship crashed onto the rocky shore, and wood was turned into splinters.
In the end, the only survivors were ten,....wolves
And now Lemina runs, runs from what they tried to make her be,...running from what they did to her, which was ultimately what saved her,...
