I have been trying to lose weight for quite a while. When I found out last year I couldn't fit into my prom dress, I was mortified. I started to lose weight. So I eat like one sandwich a day. And sometimes nothing. My mom thinks I eat but I give it to my dog or throw it away. I feel like I am going to blackout. Help please. I need some advice.

Starving yourself is never a good idea. You see, when you starve yourself, your body goes into storage mode, every calorie you take in, you're body will horde and store as fat because it thinks "Oh god, I'm not getting anything other than this, MUST SAVE IT!" and storage of calories = more rolls in the pastry truck... and the trick isn't to diet, EAT RIGHT! Eat loads of fruits and veggis, cut to a low amount of meat and no sodas and junk foods (even sugar free foods and diet drinks are a no-no)

the best thing to do in your case is have five small meals a day and exercise but dont overdo it, just because youre not a size 10 or whatever (they dam skinny enough!) doesnt mean you cant look good, not matter what the hype, guys actually prefer curves to bones, a relationship based on looks lasts shorter than one lasting on personality. But starving yourself creates this obsessive thread whereupon you restrict yourself to obscenely small amounts purely on the basis on losing weight, as long as youre fit and have a small craving for exercise each day and dont look like you have five layers of DD boobs from youre stomach then youre fine dearie.
