This might be a touchy subject to think about. Feelings. When I say this, I mean how we feel. Anger, sadness, happiness and a really touchy one, self worth. I will talk about as many feelings as I can in this meditation. While you are reading these verses and passages I have picked out, think about these questions. Do you have self esteem? Do you know what it is like to have low self-esteem? What is your anger level? Are you happy? Are you doing what you can to be involved? NOw this is not meant to offend anyone, but I had to put this one out.
Anger Numbers 22:29 "Because you have made me look like a fool!" Balaam shouted, "If I had a sword with me, I would kill you!"
1Kings 21:4-10 So Ahab went home angry and sullen because of Naboth's answer. The kind went to bed with is face to the wall and refused to eat! "What in the worl dis the matter?" his wife, Jezebel, asked him, "What has made you so upset that you are not eating?" "I asked Naboth to sell me his vineyard or to trade it but he refused!" Ahab told her. "Are you the king of Isreal or not?" JEzebel asked, "Get up and eat, and don't worry about it. I"ll get your Naboth's vineyard." So she wrote letters in Ahab's name, sealed them with his seal and sent them to the elders and other leaders of the city where Naboth lived. IN her letters she commanded, 'Call all the citizens together for fasting and prayer and Naboth a place of honor. Fine two scounderels who will accuse him of cursing God and the king. Then take him out and stone him to death. Proverbs 12:16 Wise people think before they act, fools don't and even brag about it.
FEAR Genesis 15:1 AFterword the Lord spoke to Abram in a vision and said to him, "Do not be afraid Abram, for I will protect you and your reward will be great." Loneliness Proverbs 14:20-21 The poor are despised even by their neighbors while the rich have many friends. It is a sin to despise one's neighbors; blessed are those who help the poor. Mark 15:33-30 Christ understands your lonieness. At noon, darkness fell across the whole land until three o' clock. Then at the time Jesus called out with a loud voice "Eloi, Eloi, lema Sabachthani?" Which means, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" Some of the bystanders misunderstood and thought he was calling for the prophet Elijah. One of them ran and fill ed a sponge with sour wine, holding it up to him on a stick so he could drink. "Leave him alone. Let's see whether Elijah will come and take him down," he said. Then Jesus uttered another loud cry and breathed his last. And the curtain in the Temple was torn in two from top to bottom. When the Romon Officer who stood facing him saw how he died, he exclaimed, "Truley this was the Son of God." Pride: Proverbs 11:2 Pride leads to disgrace, but with humility come wisdom. Self-Worth Genesis 1:26 Then God said, "Let us make people in our image to be like ourselves. They will be masters over all life---the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky and all the live stock, wild animals and small animals. Luke 12:7 And the very hairs on your head are numbered. So don't be afraid; you are mopre valuable to him then a whole flock of sparrows.
-------------------------- I hope this makes you all think. You might be sad, happy, or whatever. You all have feelings, you all matter and if someone here who decides they don't, talk to me, I will be here for anyone who wants to talk! IN the mean time, God bless Jessica
