Ayanna is a talkative chipper little girl from Aaris III. She was raised primarily by her older brother Kahiga although her parents are still living, or were the last time she checked. She doesn't like to speak of them as they were Sweetblossom smugglers and more recently, abusers. Although they became smugglers to try and make more money to provide a better life for her and her brother, neither child particularly approved and once they started using it themselves and stopped practically all useful work Kahiga had had enough and left with Ayanna. The two went and lived in a home they built themselves on the beach where Kahiga became a fisherman and Ayanna helped with gardening and growing vegetables, being too small for serious fishing. The two were aided often by a lone Sauvax named Kilek.
When it became apparent that Ayanna was skilled in the Force her brother insisted that she find a way into the Sith temple. Kahiga is responsible for shaping most of Ayannas world views, and he felt the Jedi's preference for negotiations and talk was ineffective, if you really wanted to get things done and change things, you had to be a Sith. With his encouragement, and Kilek's stories of the rest of the galaxy ringing in her ears, Ayanna left behind her dreams of being a veterinarian and looking after sea creatures and after finding a sponsor took to the stars to train to be a Sith.

Allies and Enemies Edan: The first person her own age Ayanna has had a conversation with, she would consider him a friend already and likes him just fine, even if he is a boy. He seems very down to earth, kind and polite. Rie'Kus: Cutest little boy ever. Especially with his mouse Fran. He wants to be strong and one day own the temples. Ayanna likes Rie'Kus, the little one is definetly a friend and someone she would look out for. Charsiir: I feel kind of bad for him because right now he can't speak Basic, although he can understand it, and the others don't speak Shyriiwook, he writes out what he has to say. I guess it could be worse, he could be unable to understand Basic, I just think it must be awfully lonely not to be able to communicate and to be so far from home all at once. Luckily I understand him alright! He's really nice, he seems very enthusiastic and I dunno, happy I guess. No, joyful. Joyful seems a better word for it.  Aiden: I don't like her. Well, mostly I don't think she likes me. And I don't think she respects the Sith. I think maybe she thinks she better'n me. I dunno, maybe I'm wrong. I've never had anyone not like me before. Maybe if I try harder to be friends...

Dear Kahiga, Aug 3
Well I finally got a datapad up and running so I can send you letters now! Alot has happened but not very much has happened.
The flight from Aaris was amazing! Seeing the whole entire world get so small it looked like it could fit in the palm of your hand, and then it disappeared entirely! Starships are pretty neat too, because I was thinking about it, and when you're on your ship, you only have to worry about moving in four basic directions right? But on a Starship, everywhere is a direction you can move in, there isn't even really an up or down, it all depends on how you look at it. I think pilots, if they're good, must have only two directions they label, where they came from, and where they're going. Everywhere else is a possibility. Anyway, I guess I'm rambling again.
I met my sponsor, her name is Fiern, she's very nice. She lives in a whole big house to herself, except she has a droid who helps her. He opened the door. She must be pretty rich to be able to sponsor me, own her own home and own a droid. She made me cookies for the trip to the temple. Actually made them. Like from the basic ingredients! I even got to help, it was fun.
Anyway, not long after I was off again, to the temples this time! A little old man and a very tall regal looking woman showed me in. The man was human, the woman wasn't, I don't know what species she was yet. Then I had to wait in a room, it was actually pretty nice and reminded me of home, like the jungles. It had bugs and everything. There were a couple of other kids waiting there too, a human boy, a wookiee and a girl Twilk. I think that's what they're called. Check with Kilek for me okay? He'll know, I don't want to pronounce it wrong and insult her. The boy's name is Edan, he's really nice, he's from a place called Dantooine where his family were farmers. I was afraid it would be all rich kids who went to better schools than me! I also met a very little boy name Rei'Kus, he's so cute! He has a pet mouse too, they live in the temples, I guess he must be a ward here?
Anyway, that's all thats happened so far, I thought since I wasn't doing anything but waiting right now I should send you a letter, since I promised I'd write!

Hi! Thank you again for the cookies, they were very good, I ate them all before I even got to the temples. The ride over was very nice, I wouldn't have minded at all if it had taken longer, I like space and spaceships.
Right now I am in a waiting room with three other people who want to join the temples and one little boy who lives here. I saw the Masters of the Jedi and the Sith, but I'm not sure which is which. One was an elderly gentleman who was only about as tall as me and the other was a very regal looking humanoid, I'm not sure what her species is called yet, I'll tell you when I find out.
Anyway, I already made two friends. One is a human boy named Edan, he is very nice and polite, he comes from a farming family on Dantooine and is the same age as me, and the other is the little boy named Rie'Kus. Hopefully I'll know even more people the next time I send you a letter.
That was about all I had to say, just wanted to let you know I got here safe and sound!

Dear Ayanna, Aug 5 I'm glad to hear you're settling in so well and making friends already! Not much is going on here, although I'm afraid this letter will be very short as I'm just gettign ready to leave on a business trip.
Oh! Which reminds me, the older gentleman you mentioned is the Sith Master, his name is Char-Langui, the Jedi Masters name is Svarsika-la-toa and she's actually a Togruta.
In any case, I must head out for Kerilt now, there's a Caamasi there I have to speak with. A word of advise, if you can get a Caamasi on your side of an arguement, do it, but mind they don't change your stance with their flowery words and honeyed tounges. I'm all for diplomacy, but the Caamasi.. They've made an art of it.

Happy Holidays A mysterious bag has appeared in your room, but you have a sneaking suspicion that the masters had something to do with it. There is some sort of force binding on it that doesn't allow you to open the bag, but your name tag leaves no question that it was left for you.
As to what's in it... you'll just have to wait and find out....

The force binding around the mysterious bag left in your room falls away and you can clearly see a new pot with soil and nutrients similar to that of your home planet for your ayanna plant. With this soil, your plant should thrive more than ever! Nifty!

Dear Kahiga,
Guess what? Someone, I think it was the Master's, left me a present! I couldn't open it 'cause there was force power on it, which is why I think it was them. It open recently though and guess what? It a pot and better soil for my plant! It'll grow really big now.
Which reminds me, I hope you're watering the garden. I know you're busy with fishing and all, but you need vegetables too and a little beauty never hurt anyone.
Anyway, that was about all I had to say, I miss you and I hope you're doing okay.
